...and you have to reply to everything I type? Does that not make you stalkeresque? Or are you exempt coz your team's going doon the plughole
A Platoon of them? I doubt it, if they did have it would be a "Troop" and seeing as how the role of Mortars is to support Infantry, why would 7 RHA have a mortar troop/platoon? The simple answer is that they wouldn't and they don't because they are not needed to support Artillery. The Closest & ever got to Mortars was Blowpipes. LBdr Gwyn 'Mowgli' Martin RHA "I moved across to the OP Troop within G Para Bty, having spent the previous two years working on the Guns. As part of OP Troop, I work within a Fire Support Team (FST) who now control not only the 105mm light guns, but also Fast Air, Apaches, and work closely with the Mortars of the Parachute Regiment." http://www.army.mod.uk/artillery/units/6816.aspx
I've been out there, you haven't. Key point to note, Dev. They have mortar and 105 there linked in. If heavy illum is needed, then it's from the R.A, if light illum, then from Inf.
You know I was so why ask? Don't tell me you still think I was EVER in 1 RHA because Delboy said so? Honest to god, do you believe Leggo too?
Pardon? I know of 2 Del's from 1RHA and I very doubt you would know them. If you are indeed 7RHA, then you would know of Mr Arundel.
He was a legend at 1RHA, even for his age. Went all the way through the ranks to Capt. No ****er messed with him, even in Mess rugby lol. I believe you were with 7RHA, we had this discussion circa 2007 on BBC606.
Indeed, and you were at 1 as part of their Rear link. I was 7 my whole time, 1977-1987. I seem to recall you Knowing big "Damage" Ramage who was apparently RSM? (Long after my time). I boxed him when he was a Gunner in about 85ish.
Yes I was their Rear Linker, from 2000-2003, they were interesting days. Provo got the boot for doing coke, etc. The black RSM who ****ing hated me because I was a Scaley...so I **** in his plant pot when on ROS. Usual stuff...
