wolves, blackburn and bolton. wolves i fear. i think they will go straight back up. keep the majority of those players and they will get the job done IMO. new manager in solbakken, not very well known in this country but he's well travelled and might do better than the usual suspects who would have been touted around for the job. blackburn. yakubu, robinson and the remaining players of any quality will jump ship IMO. they will struggle next season for me. i think they'll finish mid table. although i thought kean would see them out of trouble they have gone out with a whimper. wigan at home was embarassing. venkys stand to lose £20m at least next season, maybe more. they will be cutting costs left right and centre. bolton. as you may know they have a debt of over £100m, annual interest of 5% according to the sunday times. they have been cutting costs every year since allardyce left and its shown, again, any remaining quality like lee, petrov etc will go and although they have some good players who i think will battle to get the club up like reo coker, wheater and davies, i think there will be a big hangover. coming up from the championship are charlton and sheffield wednesday, 2 good sides plus one other, better than doncaster, pompey and coventry for me. overall meaning this will be the most equal league yet.
The next team to go to administration as far as I can see if that figure is correct. They have fought long and hard to stay in the top flight and now they are paying they heavy price. Sad for them but I have no real sympathy for them as they have lived way beyond their means.
I see a fairly even league next season. Wolves will be strong and I think Charlton & Wednesday could do well. What concerns me is how strong we will be.
We need West Ham to win the Play Offs. Wolves will be around the top 6. Blackburn are useless and will get worse. Bolton I can see struggle. Leicester will surely be much stronger. I think Charlton will be top 6. Dave Jones is at Sheff Weds so forget them With us a lot depends on this weeks board meeting. My feeling is Malky will have a similar budget to last season. He will build on what we have got and we will go head to head with Leicester for the title.
Theyve actually got some very good players. However im sure a transfer window and Jones will ruin it all. With a bit of luck he'll come back and take some of the rubbish hes lumbered us with.
Wolves will be the strongest of the three I imagine. Blackburn will do alright. Bolton may have a problem. Still, If West Ham stay down, they will be unstoppable. If not, Blackpool will be very tough. Brum will still be strong. I imagine Middlesbrough and Hull will be right up there. The Foxes will push on next year. See what DJ does as well. It will still be tough.
All three will be pushing for promotion with Dave's Sheff wednesday next season and i fancy wednesday to do a norwich and southampton to get back to back promotions//
I do quite like Wolves and think they'll do alright. I'm worried about writing off Blackburn. Who knows maybe they'll manage to keep hold of some key players, but they have to get rid of that idiot Kean.
I agree, with FFP due to kick in quite a few teams will see next season as their last chance to buy Premiership football
Yes, I agree. All clubs should say no to investors. Accepting an investor means you are attempting to cheat. I can't believe this was ever allowed.
but after reading my OP surely you can put bed to the myth that the relegated teams will all bounce back guaranteed like birmingham, newcastle, west brom etc have done in recent years. it would be a minor miracle if all 3 finished in the play offs let alone all got promoted.
