Gutted, absolutely gutted. Pleased that we did our job by beating Fulham but I'm gutted we didn't finish 3rd. Harry has questions to answer. Arsenal get all the luck with Foster missing pretty much his first game of the season - Fulop is absolute dross.
Would have been amusing if Citeh had lost that one. Annoyed about the CL thing though. Not complaining about the rule, which we obviously knew about, but doesn't mean it's fair that a team that finishes two place below us over the course of a season gets our place based on the result of one match. Also isn't fair on the crowd who don't know whether to celebrate 4th or cry.
Not really - we've had the rough end of most of the decisions all season. And in terms of excuse making, you just have to look at some of my recent threads to see how critical I've been of our recent performances. 2 wins in 10 is a disgrace - absolute disgrace. I make no bones about that and I doubt any other Spurs fan does. But you got hugely lucky today with Fulop having a 'mare.
I agree we have been ****e for the last month but I think we exerted enough pressure on West Brom to just about deserve it. When it comes to luck we haven't exactly had it in spades this season, disastrous summer, losing two of our best players and Wilshere out ALL SEASON. But we still came up trumps!
Mind you Citeh winning the title is not a good day for football either. Their end of season come back seems to have been sparked off by the man who "will never play for City again".
