What we and Man City have in common but nobody sees it!

We've had some phenomenal results this season -

Man City played excellent today. Even though Sunderland played poorly, the commentators and people related with the game were going on about how amazing City were today, which they were, but why is it when ever we get a fantastic result, it's always about how **** the opposition was and not how well we played?

Aston Villa 6-0 - "Oh this is catastrophic defending by Villa" is a classic example. They always start with how **** the opposition was and how comical the defending was.

Yes, poor performances by the opposition help, but it takes a good team to score 4/5+ goals in any game, and since we've done it 4 times now, i think people should be recognising how great we've been playing, instead of how poor our opponents were.

So when the top teams destroy teams, it's always about how orgasmic their performance was, but when destroy teams, it's always because the opposition played ****e?



Man City may have been aided by an out of form Sunderland side, but they showed their quality today, and we show our quality when we beat teams, but the difference is, we never get much credit for the win, and City get bowed down to.

However, I agree with you. BUT, before you start patting yourself on the back and having a celebratory tug for having 'dun gud' and getting something right, it's only because IT'S SO ****ING OBVIOUS THAT IT HAPPENS TO EVERYONE WHO ISN'T IN THE TOP 4.

 

I think his point is that teams get criticised for losing by a hatful, and the praise should go to the winners, which is just wrong because it's a combination of one team playing really well and one team playing really poor.

 

Sometimes a game is down to one team being **** and sometimes one is just too much for them, it cant always be a perfect mixture of both, and of course the media is biased, what else is new?

It is a bit of both, but for instance when we played West Ham, we played well but it was more a case of them being awful.
