Sparky is not motivated by revenge

Discussion in 'Tottenham Hotspur' started by Hoddle is a god, May 13, 2012.

  1. Well, that's good, because then he won't feel so bitter when £ity rip a new hole for his dire outfit.

    The arrogance of the man!

He talks as if he really has any chance of preventing £ity from winning the title!

As distasteful as I find it that £ity will today be crowned league champions, that's only because of their shag-witted fans, especially Liam Gallagher (who must be the biggest knob-head on the planet). The positive thing, though, is that it will end any chance that either United or Chavs of ever winning the title again <ok>

You accuse him of arrogance without any evidence. Would you rather he just lays down and waits for the Bolton result? He would be desperate for a point whoever he is playing (hence not motivated by revenge) and should be geeing his team up that they can do it. I agree they will lose though.

  3. Blimey!

You are determined to have a pop at me today, aren't you!

I say arrogant, because whether or not he is motivated by revenge will ultimately make no difference. His comments to the media have implicit in them that if he was motivated by revenge, somehow that might make a difference and help out his old mentor, SAF.

The argument I have made is a fair one. Take a chill-pill, pal.

Maybe he's just saying that he's not motivated by revenge, given a journalist asked him the question. And we can't be that dire if we took three points off the mighty top six always have been always will be Spurs.

Revenge is a bit strong, as is the same media inference to Jol against us. Hughes has the chance to 'have the last laugh' against a previous employer, no more, thats just human nature.

If he was motivated by revenge, he'd have kept a dossier of dodgy goings-on at City when he was manager, and he would've handed it to the relevant authorities by now...

  7. Well, as it turned out, revenge or not, there was little Sparky could do to counter-balance the utter crass stupidity of Joey Barton.

Will he ever play EPL footy ever again?

Joey Barton is one of the few players who can follow up one straight red offence with another as he leaves the pitch. He deserves a lengthy ban for that.
