It wasn't simply in the written press that the issue was skirted around. Archie Macpherson, in his commentary for the BBC, was forced to explain a stoppage to clear bananas from the Celtic Park pitch. He did so by stating, matter-of-factly: "The game has been slightly held up… some assortment of fruit has been removed… you can see it in front of the Jungle." Post your favourites to highlight just how rotten they are.
What were your thoughts when 30 faces of Rangers fans appeared on crimewatch , did Nick Ross say dirty scum???
I'm not sure, Clitoral. What did Nick say when that plane had to be diverted to Cardiff? You know, when you quoted "it wiz jist a teenager having a fly smoke"
Six passengers were arrested last night after violence on a flight carrying Celtic football fans to Glasgow from Spain. The plane had to divert to Cardiff International Airport after two female flight attendants were allegedly assaulted, police said. Neither attendant needed hospital treatment but the cabin crew were said to have been "very traumatised". The charter plane, on a flight from Santiago, landed in Cardiff after the pilot sent out a mayday call. Aviation sources said the crew had described the scene on the Boeing 737 as a "riot". More than 40 police surrounded the aircraft as it landed at Cardiff with 148 passengers and six crew on board. A fan in Celtic colours was led off in handcuffs. "Bit he wiz only hivin a fly smoke"
