Sorry siam !! , I'll make myself scarce . I realize this isn't as much a Cardiff problem as a football & foreign ownership problem ... the whole foreign ownership thing is a deep routed problem & getting deeper . Feel badly for the team ..

I would agree with you if you had of been a bit more balanced, had a look at the thread with Vince Alm's post as an example, and respected people who had been supporting this club for a very long time. SO I am not asking you to make yourself scarce Breezey just to be willing to give some respect to guys who have supported the club their whole lives and are being forced to make very very difficult decisions.

What are you talking about DJR ... Cardiff fans ? . Almost 50% of fans reacted to color & crest changes negatively ... maybe 5% of them were extremists , the other 95% of the negative fans are like londonbluebird & must be respected for there views , to them , money isn't everything siam

    Could be worse.

Could have a stadium of rugby fans dressed up as Elvis singing Max Boyce songs.

    Real comedy gold.

...whilst watching Swansea complete their inaugural season in the Premiership against Liverpool. All talking about the other premiership players we're gonna buy to ensure another entertaining season of free-flowing football. All discussing how we beat Man City and Arsenal.

    Now, where's my jump suit...

Shaper, Be very careful what you eat when you are there.

Elvis died in a sh*t house stuffing a burger.

Never said it was. Having a football club seems pretty important though.

It's easy to lose 1 Million a month. Everyone looks at the reduction in players wages and thinks its OK. All directors get paid, their are interest payments on loans (Not langstone just ordinary ones) a mortgage to be paid, office staff ground staff The manager and all his (Very excellent ) team, rent for the Vale training grounds, day to day upkeep of the Facilities at the club, electricity water gas lighting to make the pitch grow.
there are a thousand and one things that drain money from any business however well it is being run.
The point of VT's proposals was that the money he invests will save money in the long term: -
no debt = no interest payment.
Training facility owned by the club = no rent for the vale or anywhere else for years,
Paying off langstone = the chance to sell the naming rights of the club when/if we are promoted,
Increasing the capacity of the ground = one payment and a potential extra 9,000 bums on seats for as long as the team perform,
Change the home strip to red = potentially sell another 50,000 shirts in Malaysia where red is considered an extremely lucky colour,
Put a dragon on the shirt = relate to both the asian dragon element and the Wales element = potentially sell another 20,000 shirts,
Once the red strip is accepted change the shirt slightly every season as teams do now = all those shirts sold again and again.

The contentious thing for me was the bluebird, and they had already compromised on that, I think by agreeing to wear both badges. If we wear blue away from home we will be carrying the traditional bluebirds into the home of the enemy, and every time we play a team that wears red at home we will still beable to play in our blue strip and let them stay red. It's a no-brainer for me. People in asia wearing the red shirt will not stop the traditionalists here from continuing to wear blue but it will sell an awful lot more shirts.
I want a live team wearing any colour not a dead team getting buried in blue.

Was talking about something I was saying , not you Siam . I was talking to you though , there are a few I do value there opinion & your one of them . P.S. 3 quarters of those " Red Dragon Shirts " will be pirated , which that part of the world is notorious for , & the club won't see any money from them .
