The irony in your posts never fails to astound me. Arsenal fans are the very worst at over rating and hyping up their awful players.
You dont. Most proper united fans are very realistic and know their stuff. And I agree Kagawa is top class. But we see it all the time. You sign someone and they will spend the 1st 3 MOTD's doing video trailers on them about how amazing they are (like Young).
Did you just see his latest pass, drifts to the right, finds the runner, wow. Can we sign him instead.
United need him because he will be their best players (except rooney) in attacking areas. However he doesnt plug the gaps they have in central midfield, in goal (maybe de gea will come good) or at fullback.
Kagawa has been astounding. If Utd buy him there's genuine case of argument to say he's your best player. Fantastic player. Similar to Silva but perhaps a better eye for pass as shown in this game. I wouldn't be surprised if every club in the top five are after him though.
I think we will sign 2 midfielders, 1 attack and 1 defensive. Kagawa and asamoah/tiote. We have apparently already signed Asamoah from Udinese.............
Maybe, we have an advantage though......hes japanes and grew up wathcing the PL and more specifically United. Hes a United fan. His words.
If so it doesnt solve your problem of needing a playmaker who can play in central midfield in a 442 formation. Either that or you change formation which I am not sure would work because your whole squad is built around players suited to playing 4-4-2 the majority of the time
I always have to laugh at Arsenal fans who call Young a poor or average player. It seems they don't remember him tearing their sorry lot to pieces earlier in the season (nevermind all the other goals and assists he has this season).
He might also be a fan of £220k a week. In which case chelsea and city become a factor. You might get him but I find it hard to believe that he would sign for united just because he supported them (he is from japan ffs hardly gonna be die hard united).
If that's true it could mean a lot. However money talks, if City were to come in for him he may go there, the money they could give him is unparalleled. And arguably they have the best chance of winning the Champions League/Premiership next year.
A change of formation. Kagawa can play as a forward playmaker aslong as 2 DMs cover him. Thats what I expect us to do. or... ---Carrick-new player Valencia -Kagawa - Nani -------rooney------ 442 will drop kagawa for welbeck and stick him up top with Rooney.
Maybe, dont think City will be in for him, they go after players with massive hype, they dont scout anyone just read who real clubs are after.
Maybe but as I said, he wont be on Citys radar, it would require some effort in scouting. Plus Japanese count the PL as the only league in the world, well above their own J League and any other on earth. They are also insane, very very insane.
