Quite funny fact that Roy Keane released him at Ipswich because he thought he wasn't good enough.

Watched him a few times, would make it in the championship no doubt not sure about pl. We already took a gamble on Wickham that hasn't really payed off so can't see us going for this lad.

Was going to post this thread. Lovely goal today. Like a young Kevin Phillips.

Our mistake getting Wickham means we won't take a gamble on him but i think he'd be a gem for someone like Wigan. Natural goalscorer.

I think the lad could make the grade if given the chance. If Huddersfield go up (and now that Spotty faced **** isn't there now I can support them fully) and he rattles in 15 goals up to Christmas next season in the championship, you will ALL be raving about the lad.

He is a natural finisher and at any level, that's the crucial point. On a separate point, I still think Wickham will come good and think he has just had a year to acclimatise to life away from home and at a Premier club.

I fancy MoN will work on him over the next few months and we will see the best of him next year.

I rate him. I'd like to see us sign him and move Best on. Obviously a step up in class, but I think he'd be a good option for your lot. I like his under 21 teammate Jaime Forrest of Celtic too. They showed up a much vaunted dutch 21 side in holland 2-1. The dutch side contained the likes of Ola John, Leroy Fer, Narsingh but they were completely overshadowed by Forrest and Rhodes. John was being hyped up by the commentators but ended up hauled off.

Alright for your lot? Who the **** do you think you are? Says the man whose club signed Leon Best and Peter Lovenkrands and Shefki '****ing' Kuqi only 12 months ago. 2 seasons ago, you were closer to the league Rhodes plays in now than the top flight you deluded muppet.

Obviously now your in competition with Real Madrid, Barca and Man Utd you'll be after the likes of Messi and Ronaldo eh? FFS.

I've noticed it myself Cest and also commented on how after 1 good season where they have finished above us, they are all high and mighty again.

They have some nerve as well considering if it was for the fans they would be no Mike Ashley, Pardew, European football or maybe even premiership football. They get called deluded and a fickle bunch, rightly so in my eyes.

One good season and all of a sudden its he is good enough for your lot but obviously not us as we are one of the best clubs in the league.
Mind you 83, it'll make the fall from grace next season all the more enjoyable for the rest of the country. AGAIN. Lol

It will mate, Pardew has a record of getting off to a flyer, BUT, then always loses the plot.

Roll on next season as I am already confident that with Pardew and O'Neil head to head for a full season, O'Neil will come out on top.

Touchy beyond belief. Can either of you even read? Did I not say I wouldn't mind him at our club meaning he'd be a good signing for OUR lot also. Silly me I thought you all have been crying out for striker who scores goals. Talk about a chip on the shoulder.
