Seb: "There is nothing wrong. We decided to abort the lap to have a free choice of tyres for the race. If I had set a lap, we would have to start the race on soft tyres. In Q2, the first run was crucial. I didn't manage to pull a lap out so I had to use my final set of tyres to get into Q3. We simply weren't quick enough. We'll see how it goes for tomorrow. We were a bit surprised how much of a step the others could do. But I'm quite confident for race, we always have a good race car. We have a couple of new sets which has proved successful for others in previous races this year."

Dark horse for a win tomorrow, providing he doesn't get mixed up amongst the midfield runners.

Exactly. And that's why it wasn't Hamilton's hamster; It was Whitmarsh's! (dun dun dunnnnnn)
At least, according to the conspiracy theorists.

Hamster could have been hiding amongst his neatly cropped hair

Is hamilton even under investigation? I've seen no mention of it anywhere, so these last 4-5 pages have actually been a waste of pixels.

The race stewards do not take into account which member of the team made a mistake, they just punish the driver of car number x. Your argument is sophistry and irrelevant.

I thought Whitmarsh owned an evil ray-gun that when fired forces the tyre to stick to the axle at pitstops? Thats what i heard anyway.

I was thinking Big John instead. He seems more comfortable in the car, especially in the final sector.

Was that Dave Ryan's fault, then?

No idea. I'm a bit past caring. If he gets a penalty I'll hardly be able even to enjoy it now.

That's a joke, by the way.
