If Hamilton (or any driver) gets pole position because his car is light then he has "cheated" - I'd prefer to say "broken the rules" but your description applies just as well. That's why the driver gets the penalty rather than the fuel-line operative. The stewards don't look into team organisation when assessing penalties - they just apply them to the car number. Car number 4 is Hamilton.
Hamilton to fulfil his destiny, and become the 2nd coming of Nigel Mansell? That is, moan about everything and anything.
So it was Hamilton's fault that he got his wheelnuts got crossed twice in Bahrain. Jeez, why doesn't he quit F1 now!?
Also, off topic for a second, but Carroll Shelby has died, in case you didn't know. (Anyone who asks "Who is he?" should be ashamed of themselves)
I thought he was becoming the new Prost after his sting of 3rd places early in the season Think Jenson is going for the Mansell moustahce, and the way he has been moaning about his car suggests he will pick up the Mansell mantle! Who would Maldonado be though? Can't remember anyone in the 80's having braces..........
I've just skimmed the last two pages and couldn't find anyone say that Hamilton cheated. Who said that?
Once again, what are you talking about? It's not against the rules to cross-thread wheelnuts and the FIA didn't penalise him for it.
oh no. Now we're going to have some suggesting that he is going to lie to the stewards about why his car stopped Now, where have we seen that before............. ? Do you realise what you may have started
It was the teams that screwed up then. The team may also have screwed up now. therefore, not Hamilton's fault as suggested. Teams fault, yes, penalty, if rules broken then yes, but Hamilton's personal fault? No!
Who's to say Hamilton didn't bring his pet hamster into the car with him and it nibbled through a bunch of wires?
