SO now we know. David Murray was not Doyle Lonnegan after all.

Not the bumbling buffoon of a simpleton he told us he was. Not the Scottish version of the boorish Irish gangster of a ‘mark,’ played by Robert Shaw in the Sting.

No, David Murray was more like a character in a James Bond movie. But not the one played by his pal, Sean Connery. Not 007. The character I have in mind is Ernst Stavro Blofeld, the arch villain.

Not just the bad guy, the evil bad guy.

That is exactly what the Scottish Football Association Judicial panel has revealed David Murray to be.

David Murray was not duped. David Murray was duplicitous.

Duplicitous in the sale of Rangers to Craig Whyte, the cheating lying conman and crook who brought Rangers to this low.

That Craig Whyte.

In cahoots with that David Murray.

Far from David Murray having had the wool pulled over his eyes by a cunning con perpetrated by Craig Whyte, David plunged straight in, eyes wide open.

But only after admitting that he had to sell Rangers because he was so deeply in debt to Lloyds Bank. That is, David Murray’s other companies were so deeply in hock to Lloyds that he had to do just exactly what they told him to do.

And Lloyds Bank told him to sell Rangers to Craig Whyte.

Lloyds Bank insisted that David Murray sold Rangers to Craig Whyte.

Lloyds Bank ORDERED David Murray to sell Rangers to Craig Whyte.

And David Murray did just exactly what he was told and sold out Rangers to Craig Whyte in a damning act of cowardice and utter and shameful betrayal.

And then David Murray lied and lied and lied. He was even willing to be held up as a laughing stock by saying Whyte had duped him. David Murray was even willing to be compared to Doyle Lonnegan.

All to avoid admitting what he had really done to Rangers. All to avoid telling the truth.

But the truth will out.

ALWAYS!

No matter who it concerns. Charles Green and the shadowy men he is involved with should remember that. As should Duff and Phelps in general and David Whitehouse in particular.

For the moment though the spotlight shines on David Murray and there will be no place for him to go to escape from it. Not his estate in Perthshire. Not his French vineyards. Not his Edinburgh home. Not his office in Charlotte Square.

The truth is like that. It follows you about, popping out to confront you with a grin every time you think you’ve ducked it. Or that people have forgotten it.

And the truth is that the Rangers Independent Board, formed to probe Craig Whyte, hired a private investigator to delve into Whyte and presented his report to David Murray. That was in March last year, two months before David sold out Rangers to Craig Whyte.

But David Murray simply ignored all of the warnings about Craig Whyte.

It was Martin Bain who delivered the black spot to David Murray. And it was Martin Bain who, giving evidence to the SFA’s Judicial Panel - evidence which they believed - revealed what David Murray told him.

A revelation which will damn David Murray for all time.

What David Murray said was that he was under pressure from Lloyds Bank to sell Rangers and that he had no option, other than to sell Rangers to Craig Whyte.

But David Murray went further. David Murray showed just how desperate he was. For he begged Bain to urge the specially formed Ibrox Independent Board to approve his sale of Rangers to Craig Whyte.

He begged Bain to get men of honour such as Paul Murray and Alistair Johnston to lie on his behalf.

But Bain, David Murray’s loyal ally and lieutentant for more than a decade, finally snapped.

He saw his old boss stripped of all the veneer of power, laid bare as a man willing to go to any lengths to please his Lloyds Bank masters, no matter what dreadful damage his actions inflicted on Rangers.

He saw David Murray for what he really was.

And Martin Bain told David Murray to get stuffed.

Bain told him that he would not urge the other members of the Independent Board, Alastair Johnston, John McClelland and John Greig, to approve David Murray selling Rangers down the river to Craig Whyte.

It’s all there in the 27,000 word Scottish Football Association explanation.

All the questions about the way David Murray behaved during the sale of his 85.3per cent shareholding in Rangers to Craig Whyte, are answered.

All the credible evidence which was believed, is there in detail.

And it all reveals the lies David Murray has been hiding behind for the last year as he watched the consequences of ignoring all the warnings about Whyte, just so he could do his master's bidding.

His master was and remains, Lloyds Bank. David Murray, in effect, acted as their agent in sending Rangers plunging to where they are now.

There’s more. And other aspects from the SFA Judicial Panel. And I will be examining some of them, attempting to interpret some and commenting on others.

For the moment it is best to start at the beginning and the beginning of this whole sorry saga was when Craig Whyte appeared on the scene and David Murray sold out Rangers to him, despite evidence which warned him not to.

Despite the report of a private investigator and advice from cool heads. Despite advice from true blue Rangers men such as Alastair Johnston.

David Murray ignored it all. The only voice he listened to was that of the man from Lloyds Bank who was screaming the bank’s order in David Murray’s ear….

SELL! SELL! SELL!

David Murray was no Doyle Lonnegan. He was and remains, Ernst Stravro Blofeld.

David Murray was no dupe. David Murray was duplicitous.

Truly I think this thread has run it's course. It was funny when his stories were run by Dingwall every day, as an individual post, on FF.

Now even FF can't be having him, and that reallllly tells you something. He's done even as a rabble rouser, and the only people who keep reading are huns who are somehow more mental than the average FF poster - or tims who love to laugh at him.

It's probably time we left the mental mongrels on their own with this deteriorating mess of a human.

DUFF AND PHELPS AND GANGSTERS?
THERE are more questions than answers when it comes to the way Duff and Phelps have been behaving. When it comes to the behaviour of, in particular, managing director, David Whitehouse.

And there are two questions which have been posed to me time and time and time again. Over and over and over again. (“time and time again” and “Over and Over again” means the same thing) By supporters, obviously. But also by other insolvency practitioners. By lawyers. By members of the hallowed halls of academia.(Who the **** are "members of the hallowed halls of academia" Teachers?) Even by accountants.

Number one is this.

Are Duff and Phelps INCOMPETENT?

Well, the insolvency practitioners are better qualified than I to answer that question and many of them, interviewed in newspapers and on television, have expressed surprise at many of the decisions Duff and Phelps and David Whitehouse have taken.

Let’s leave the question of Duff and Phelps’ competency to them. (Is that not the subject of this article then?)

The second question on the lips of many has also been asked privately by other insolvency practitioners. By lawyers. By members of the hallowed halls of academia. Even by accountants. (Here we go again, he is going to use the same words “over and over”, “time and time again”)

Question number two is this.

Are Duff and Phelps BENT?

Others may ask such a question, but I could not possibly comment. (You have just asked the question you ******ed prick)

For those lawyers who pose such a question are better qualified to answer. (**** me he’s hard going)

Therefore, let’s just leave any question of whether or not Duff and Phelps are bent, to them. (So the opening thrust of your day’s work, about a quarter of this alleged Blog, was utterly pointless)

But within hours of Duff and Phelps turning to a man who has had business links with Craig Whyte, the decidedly dodgy looking Charles Green, someone with impeccable contacts within the world of insolvency practitioners and lawyers in Edinburgh, told me those people are now asking another question. (Impeccable contacts? Was it Paul Murray?)

One, which if the answer proves to be in the affirmative, would go almost all the way to explaining some of the otherwise inexplicable decisions Duff and Phelps and in particular the firm’s managing director, David Whitehouse, have taken.

The third question, the new question, is this.

Are Duff and Phelps being THREATENED?

Are they the mere puppets of dark and sinister underworld forces? Gangsters? And is there a link between any such people from organised crime in, for instance, London, and Craig Whyte?

One thing which is surprising is that none of the big hitters in Scotland in the world of insolvency, (is there even such a thing as a “Big Hitter in the world of insolvency?)even got a sniff of being called in to handle the administration of Rangers.

There was no sign of people with such impeccable credentials as Nimmo Smith or Bryan Jackson, men with experience of the administration of Scottish football clubs. Men who know the lie of the land in Scotland and in Scottish business circles. Why?

Surely they were not warned off?

Surely we are not entering the world of John Le Carre and James Ellroy? (More like the world of L. Frank Baum you ****ing madman)

Is all of the above fanciful? Should the men with white coats be sent for and given the SatNav route to LeggoLand? (Please God yes)

Or should the Serious – the VERY Serious – Crime Squad – the Sweeney by whatever their name is now - be hitting the road with tyres screeching and Blues and Twos flashing? (Dear Lord this is mental stuff)

And heading for Duff and Phelps to take David Whitehouse into protective custody?

At any other time, in the midst of any other story which I have been involved in, stretching back for nigh on half a century, had anyone posed such questions, had they been insolvency practitioners, those who walk the hallowed halls of academia, lawyers or accountants, I would have been the first to order the strait jackets. (More regurgitated ****e)

But these are different days. This is a different story. It is like no other I can recall in close to half a century.

And if we are agreed that Duff and Phelps are not incompetent. If we are agreed that Duff and Phelps are not bent, then what are we left with? (That you are washed up bigoted slavering drunkard who has taken one too many punches to the head?)

The question of whether or not Duff and Phelps and the firm’s managing director, David Whitehouse, are being threatened by dark evil and sinister forces? Gangsters? Organised crime? People with links to Craig Whyte?

This time it isn’t Stewart Regan and the SFA who should be asking the questions. It’s Jack and the Sweeney.

TIME TO UNMASK GREEN'S MEN OF MYSTERY

JUST about the only hackneyed old clichÃ© Charles Green didn’t fall back on was an “Ba Gum Lad” sound bite.

In all other respects this mouthpiece for the MEN OF MYSTERY who want to get their hands on Rangers, played the big, bluff professional Yorkshireman right down to the soles of his shoes.

But Green even managed to get in an even bigger Yorkshire clichÃ© as he battled to win the hearts and minds of the media. He resorted to a phrase which has become a standing joke…. even in Yorkshire.

The one about going DOWN THE PIT!

Gimme a break, Mr Green! Don’t be a proper Charlie. Some of the more gullible hacks who fawned over you at the Rangers training ground may have fallen for your Yorkshire Working Men’s Club stand-up comedy act.

It didn’t fool this old hack!

Just who is Green fronting for? Who are the MEN OF MYSTERY? What’s their backgrounds?

And if they are all so fabulously wealthy, why does Green need TWENTY of them for the whip round?

It isn’t as though they will all be contributing Â£3M apiece. That would amount to Â£60M and remove the need for a CVA. They could just move in now. Today! They could sign on the dotted line, pay off all the debts, send out the season ticket renewal forms, complete with the price increases Green has promised, and watch Â£20M more roll in. From the pockets of hard working Rangers supporters.

But none of that is on Green’s agenda. None of that is what he is being ordered to say by the MEN OF MYSTERY.

Of course there are many Rangers supporters out there who are already buying into the Green routine. Already welcoming him as the leader of a squadron of Arabian Knights.

And it is hard to blame them. Those supporters have spent the last three months on the edge of despair. They are now in such turmoil, so frightened, so bewildered, they are fair game for any blarney. And much of what Charles Green spouted to the media was just that. Blarney!

A patter routine carefully scripted and designed to hand headlines to the tabloids. To, in the vernacular of the press pack, fill their boots and send them off chortling happily with an easy story to write.

The same way Craig Whyte handed hacks an easy story to write a year ago. The same way he and his spin doctors whispered about just calling conman Whyte a billionaire. Rangers fans would be well advised to remember how that turned out.

So too would the press pack. It was not their finest hour.

Those fans may have been ill served by the media a year ago, but they at least knew WHO Craig Whyte was, if not WHAT.

Now they know who Charles Green is. Don’t they want to know WHAT he is?

Do Rangers supporters not want to know who the MEN OF MYSTERY are?

Or will Rangers fans aim venomous abuse at the few reporters who go diligently and professionally about the perfectly reasonable and entirely legitimate business of investigating Charles Green and of attempting to name the MEN OF MYSTERY? <markdalymuir>

There are already sections among the Ibrox fan base which has accused the Daily Record of digging the dirt. Of muck raking. Do me a favour.

That’s the paper which uncovered conman Craig Whyte’s dodgy deal with Ticketus. It is the bad guys, the villains whose dark deeds are laid bare by newspapers, who call it muck racking.

That’s the language those thieves in the House of Commons resorted to when the Daily Telegraph laid bare the money MPs were stealing.

So please, save the digging the dirt jibes, save the anti Rangers agenda comments, for those who deserve them.

Here’s a wee question. I want to know all there is to know about Charles Green. I want to know what he is. I want to know who the MEN OF MYSTERY are.

Does that make me anti Rangers? According to you, it made the BBC anti-Rangers

One thing I already know is that the administrators, Duff and Phelps say they have had a sight of the client account where the MEN OF MYSTERY’S money has been lodged with a firm of London solicitors. The firm is Field Fisher Waterhouse LLP, 35, Vine Street, London.

Now, give me a minute. I’m just trying to remember where I’ve heard a similar tale. Ah, yes.

That was when David Murray had a sight of the funds lodged by Craig Whyte as proof of financial substance, with a firm of London lawyers, Collyer Bristow.

Only the names have been changed.

One name which I believe we will be hearing a lot of in the coming days is that of a lawyer with that firm He specialises in football matters. His name is Daniel Geey.

He writes a monthly legal football column and offers advice to football clients on such matters as fit and proper persons. Now here’s a thing.

Does Danny boy know who the MEN OF MYSTERY are?

Is he willing to stake his impeccable professional reputation and his clearly lucrative career on them?

Is he satisfied, as a leading legal expert in such a key area, that the MEN OF MYSTERY will pass the Scottish Football Association’s fit and proper person test?

He should have no trouble finding out, for the website of the On The Ball company which Daniel Geey is heavily involved in, lists the Scottish Football Association as sponsors/partners/backers. Call it what you like, the site carries the logo of the Scottish Football Association.

So all Daniel Geey has to do is pick up the phone and give his pal, Stewart Regan a buzz. That’s to say, if he can find a minute to spare from fielding calls and emails from the Scottish press pack.

Reporters will be keen to find out everything they can about Charles Green. Won’t they? They will be keen to discover just who the Arabian Knights, the MEN OF MYSTERY are. Won’t they?

Or will there still be plenty of newspapers lazy enough to be satisfied with Charles Green’s professional Yorkshireman stand up comedy act?

GREEN DOES NOT OWN RANGERS....YET! - Exclusive

LET’S get one thing straight right away. Charles Green does NOT own Rangers.

He does NOT own the 85.3 per cent stake in the club Craig Whyte bought from David Murray.

Nor is that 85.3 per cent of Rangers owned by the MEN OF MYSTERY, who are now, one by one, starting to be unmasked, with controversial former Sheffield United owner, Mike McDonald and the even more controversial agent, Paul Stretford, the first to be named.

All of the above is factual. It is accurate. It represents the truth.

No matter how many times Charles Green issues a statement through the OFFICIAL Rangers website, he and his cohorts do NOT own Rangers, they does not pay the wages of those people employed by Rangers and any attempt by Charles Green to represent himself and his consortium as the owners of Rangers is a MISREPRESENATION by Charles Green. (By gum, the English language is taking a beating this morning!)

Whether or not such a misrepresentation is illegal is a matter for m’learned friends. I am sure there are enough of them in the ranks of the 26,000 Rangers small shareholders.

Ranks which include Alastair Johnston and Dave King. I do hope they are watching and taking advice from top legal minds.

For the moment, Rangers remain in the charge of the administrators. From a legal perspective, Duff and Phelps are, as they have been since February 14th, the only people legally entitled to represent Rangers.

That’s the law!

Despite whatever Charlie boy may say. Despite his bluff Yorkshireman act. Despite his Wheeltappers and Shunters Club comedy routine. Despite the Green blarney.

So there Rangers rest, still in the vice like grip of those arch bunglers of Duff and Phelps and in particular managing director, David Whitehouse.

Now here’s a thing. A thing some of m’learned friends well versed in the intricacies of company law, especially relating to insolvency, will be able to answer.

Can Duff and Phelps sell Rangers to people whose identities they do not know?

Can David Whitehouse of Duff and Phelps do a secret backdoor deal to flog Rangers to person or persons unknown?

Can David Whitehouse of Duff and Phelps sneak the title deeds to Rangers to person or persons unknown without the identity of all the buyers being made known to the other 26,000 shareholders?

Is that legal?

Maybe!

Is it moral?

Absolutely not!

The latest Green blarney from Charlie boy has been to claim that the MEN OF MYSTERY include families in Singapore and India, along with individuals in the UK.

And that some investors would like to wait until a CVA proposal is advanced or agreed before going public.

So not all of them want to hide away. Just SOME. That was Charlie boy’s blarney. That’s what he said. Exactly!

Therefore, let those who do not wish to wait, come forward. Let some of the MEN OF MYSTERY reveal themselves. Let them present themselves for public scrutiny. Let them answer questions just as Mike McDonald has.

He says he was the man who kick started the whole deal by ordering Green to round up a consortium of investors to snare Rangers.

And he says Paul Stretford, the man at the centre of a messy trial with Wayne Rooney, which was reported to have London gangsters on its fringes, will move in to take charge of football operations, buying and selling players.

Mike McDonald also added to our knowledge of where the consortium comes from, naming Europe, Kuwai and Abu Dhabi.

As for the other MEN OF MYSTERY....Why do they hide?

In my experience there is only one reason why someone hides. It is because they have got something to hide. So just what is it that the MEN OF MYSTERY have got to hide? ()

It was Charlie boy, himself, who raised the spectre of money laundering. Green’s gab mentioned it.

Now that would be the sort of thing somebody would want to hide.

Or bent betting. Green also said some of the money men were based in Singapore and India.

Does that set off any alarm bells with regard to betting scams? Mmm ….!

Now there’s a thought. A worrying one for Rangers supporters.

And a worrying one for the Scottish Football Association and for the Scottish Premier League. But at least we now know that SFA chief executive Stewart Regan has ordered a full scale probe into Green.

But what about the rest of the money men, Stewart? At least you can now include Mike McDonald and Paul Stretford in your probe.

There's an old sports hack - a Scot - who is based in McDonald and Stretford territory. His name is Alan Nixon. He is very well connected and was mentioned frequently - see Private Eye back copies - in the Stretford-Rooney trial. Nixon may be able to help the SFA with their enquiries.

Frankly, as I've said, this looks more like a job for a modern day Jack Regan, rather than Green's fellow Yorkshireman, Stewart Regan

For the very secrecy which Charlie Green insists on, is the very thing which has aroused suspicions.

Charlie Green's refusal to name the MEN OF MYSTERY, in order that their stature, motives, credibility and honesty can be examined, is what has set those alarm bells ringing.

If Charlie Green can't see that and understand it then he is a mug, or he thinks everyone attached to Rangers are mugs.

And I do not think it's the former.

THERE has to be a degree of sympathy for the players as the WHYTE SCANDAL continues to play out and the destiny of Rangers remains unresolved.

Sympathy and admiration. So it was good to hear last week that Stevie Naismith was clear about wanting to see the mess sorted out so that he could stay at Rangers.

For Rangers is the club Naisy does more than play for. It's the club he also supports. Naisy is a Bluenose. No doubt.

Let’s hope the summer sees his recovery from serious injury completed, for it is always good to see a young man fulfill his boyhood dreams and play for the team he grew up supporting.

That is, just as long as the club Stevie Naismith grew up following is still there come August.

RANGERS, PAUL STRETFORD AND GANGSTERS - Exclusive

THERE are growing fears that Charles Green has not got anywhere near the 20 worldwide investors he claims are backing the bid to buy Rangers which he is fronting.

And there are now also questions being asked as to just where the Â£8.5M Green has deposited in a client account with London lawyers, Field Fisher Waterhouse, has come from.

On top of which, there is the highly controversial figure of agent Paul Stretford, someone else with close links to Charles Green and who McDonald had admitted has been earmarked as the man who will have all the responsibility of buying and selling players, should the Green Gang get their claws into Rangers.

Stretford was involved in a sensational blackmail case at Warrington Crown Court in 2004. The case collapsed when it was proven that, when giving evidence, Stretford had misled the court.

The Football Association moved in and after examining all the court papers they handed down their judgment on 53-year-old former vacuum cleaner salesman, Stretford.

Paul Stretford was BANNED from operating as an agent for 18 months and FINED a staggering Â£300,000.

The court case followed a row over Wayne Rooney and who owned the rights to represent him. During the court case evidence was heard and reported that Stretford was at a meeting in a hotel which was attended by one of Britain’s most notorious gangsters, Tommy Adams, of the North London-Irish crime family, the Adams Family.

Evidence was also led which alleged that Adams was there at the invitation of Kenny Dalglish, who was then the owner TWO MILLION shares in Stretford’s Proactive company and who recruited players for Stretford.

This is the man Charles Green’s crony, his business associate, his big boss, Mike McDonald, wants to hand the Ibrox cheque book to.

And there is an increasing belief that these are the men – Charles Green, Mike McDonald and Paul Stretford – who ARE the SOLE investors in the move to snare Rangers on the cheap.

That there are NO men, NO families, from Europe, Singapore, India, Kuwait or Abu Dhabi, the places where Green and McDonald have said the MEN OF MYSTERY are mustering.

There could though be an involvement from a fifth man, though not financially. A Scot! A man with a high profile in football. Someone with close links to Stretford. But he is still in a job and cannot be named.

YET!

The murky picture which Charles Green has attempted to keep dark and mysterious and in the shadows, is now beginning to emerge into the daylight.

And with someone like Paul Stretford at its centre, it is not a very pretty picture.

THE bungling Scottish Football Association and one its main sponsors, William Hill, are heading for a big bust up.

For I can reveal the bookmaking giants, who rescued the Scottish Cup by pouring their cash into it, are unhappy with the timing of the Rangers appeal.

The SFA set the headline grabbing appeal for today, at a time when the back pages should be full of stories about Saturday's Scottish Cup Final.

By tomorrow, though, the Hampden showdown will be relegated, with Rangers and the SFA taking centre stage again

The SFA also edged out coverage of the William Hill backed event in today's papers by announcing the Scotland squad for Craig Levein's meaningless jaunt to America, yesterday.

And to further take the spotlight away from William Hill, the SFA chose yesterday to announce their doomed to failure bid to co-host the European Championships with the Republic of Ireland and Wales.

DALGLISH LINED UP TO JOIN GREEN GANG BID FOR RANGERS-Exclusive

KENNY DALGLISH is being lined up as part of the Charles Green fronted Green Gang who want to take control of Rangers. (...and there it is!)

I revealed yesterday there is now a growing belief that that there are no MEN OF MYSTERY from Europe, Singapore, India, Kuwait, Abu Dhabi or Saudi Arabia hiding in the shadows and ready to lend their financial muscle to the unexplained and perhaps even inexplicable Green Gang offer for the Ibrox club.

And that it seemed more like the bid was being fronted by Charles Green on behalf of his boss, Manchester based Michael McDonald and the controversial banned by the FA, Paul Stretford.

I also made it clear that I believed another man was in the frame to join the Green Gang, hinting at his identity by saying he is a Scot with a high profile in football who could not be named because he was still in a job.

He’s not now, though.

So today I can reveal that the man I firmly believe will join the Green Gang to try and snare Rangers is former Celtic star, former Celtic manager and former Celtic director of football, Kenny Dalglish. (Did you mention Celtic in that sentence?)

Dalglish was of course sacked by Liverpool yesterday after his second stint as boss lasted a mere 16 months and saw the Anfield club endure their worst season for decades. (Didn't they win a cup and reach the FA Cup final? That's more than the Huns won this season)

The links Dalglish has with Charles Green and with Paul Stretford are there for all to see. (Here we go...)

Stretford set up and ran the Proactive Agency. Charles Green also worked for Proactive. And Kenny Dalglish owned TWO MILLION shares in Proactive. (...how can you fault such logic?)

On top of that, Green gabbed that he would soon show how serious he was and how much expertise he had at his command by unveiling a top football name, a Scot, as being Ibrox-bound if the Green Gang’s bid for Rangers is successful.

At first it was thought by some that it Graeme Souness was who Green was talking about. I never bought into that. And now Souness has come out in clear and unambiguous terms, saying no, he has not been involved with the Green Gang and no, he would not become involved with the Green Gang.

Which means the trail now leads to Kenny Dalglish, whose job as Liverpool manager was hanging by a thread when Green spoke last Sunday. On Wednesday, that thread snapped.

Michael McDonald is the main man in all of this. Charles Green is merely the front man. The mouthpiece. But it is the feared Michael McDonald who barks the orders and calls the shots.

And he has said that Stretford, once banned from being an agent for 18 months and fined Â£300,000 by the FA, will move in at Ibrox to assume full responsibility for buying and selling players. That means a seat on the board with unsupervised access to the Ibrox cheque book. ()

Even with a year-long ban on them buying players remaining in force, Rangers can still sell players and any experienced agent can make a killing. Stretford is extremely experienced in making backdoor deals.

It is unlikely the Green Gang will be waiting for any financial investment in Rangers from Kenny Dalglish. The more likely role for the former director of football at Celtic, would be for him to move in to the same highly paid job at Ibrox.

Michael McDonald will no doubt install himself as executive chairman, again at a hefty salary, with Charles Green in overall day to day control of all Rangers operations as chief executive. Again, with a mind boggling salary.

That is the Green Gang. These are the men who want to take control of Rangers. I believe Kenny Dalglish will eventually be to be one of them. These are the men Scottish Football Association chief executive, Stewart Reagan, must investigate.

Dalglish, of course, is an open book. Charles Green and Michael McDonald were chief executive and chairman respectively of Sheffield United, therefore the FA in London may be able to assist the Hampden hierarchy.

While a perusal of the court records from the blackmail trail at Warrington Crown Court which collapsed when Paul Stretford was judged to have given evidence which misled the court, plus the FA’s judgment on the controversial ducker and diver, can assist Regan and the SFA to make their minds up about Stretford.

All of the facts, about all of the people, can also assist Rangers supporters make up their minds if these are the sort of men they want to take control of their club.

Just as those who work for Rangers will get their opportunity to assess Green when he addresses all of the club's staff today.

Some may even be moved to ask him if Kenny Dalglish is set to become a member of the Green Gang which wants to snare Rangers.

LLOYDS BANK hold their Annual General Shareholders meeting in the Edinburgh Exhibition Centre today.

And I understand there could be fireworks over the role they played in the sale of Rangers by David Murray to banned company director, conman and trickster, Craig Whyte.

Questions will be asked of the Lloyds board of directors by concerned Lloyds shareholders, who are also Rangers supporters.

Hacks should keep an eye on it. And anyone who wants a wee insight into which shareholders will be grilling the Lloyds Board should give me a call.

Aye. Double dip recession. Â£700 million being moved out of Greece. Spain also losing similar amounts of money. The euro and EU potentially in dire trouble and......Leggo reckons Lloyds shareholders will be going mental about Rangers.

And why would the shareholders give a **** anyway. Whytey paid them back the money they were owed and if you look at Rangers now, they were lucky because every other creditor is getting the square root of **** all.
