Sadly yes - the rest were pure manure!

It's a relevant point though, and the words supposedly spoken by Messi.

It's not a Prem team though, and Messi is too good to get criticism!

On the topic of bans, did anything ever come of Suarez's alleged "unseen" foul on Ivanovic? Journalists were making out that he could miss the start of next season, whereas Chelsea's atrocities in that game had gotten yellow cards so were "dealt with" by the referee.

Not that i'm aware of. I'm sure they're looking into it.

There were some poor challenges all round in that game.

If they were going to do something shouldn't it have happened by now? They can't spring a ban on Suarez the day before a game, and why would a ban take more than 1 game to even be announced unless they specifically wanted to try to hurt Liverpool's next season the most?

Maybe. But remember it took about 73 before they announced anything on Suarez, although, obviously, that was a much bigger matter.

As St. says above, they have to defend themselves against charges of inconsistency (as if ) and so they impose the same ban.
The press won't run with it so much though because it's in the lower league therefore of less interest.

I'm sorry but if Suarez gets banned for his supposed foul, then half the Chelsea team should miss the start of next season also. I find it funny how during half time there wasn't even a mention of Essien's challenge on Carroll from behind and the Ivanovic elbowing Carroll was shown briefly.

Chelsea resorted to thug tactics that game and they got ****ing smashed for it.

Probably waiting for next season's fixtures to be announced so that Slurguson can decide when he wants the ban to start and for how long.
