The table shows we didn't perform very well in the league this season, the size of the task to remedy that is purely a matter of opinion. You're entitled to yours, of course- but don't cite the table as evidence of your belief.
The table doesn't lie. Here is a challenge, accept it, or run away from the argument, but please don't choose abuse, it will only serve to make you look weak and churlish; I say you need 14 Players. Given the current legislation, the Squad can only consist of 25 named Players, plus the 'non-qualifiers' so... Name more than 11 current Liverpool Players that Citeh, Yernitedor Chelski would sign.
Yup. Carling Cup was good to get the 'no trophy in ages monkey off our backs". Beat a couple of good teams. FA Cup run was very good, but it coinsided in us being **** in the league. League is the way to judge a team and we've been miles and miles off. This can change, but you cannot judge this season as a success.
Not really, That's a lot of player. I wouldn't say no to so many additions in the summer, no team would.
With all due respect the expectations are higher here (rightly or wrongly), especially with the money spent.
You just side-stepped my point. The table can show nothing more than the fact that we didn't do very well. It says nothing about the nature of the problem or how to solve it. The rest of your post is your opinion, and trying to link your speculation to the fact of league position is nothing more than a transparent attempt to lend some weight to your argument.
