    Hi Argyle fans.....

Really pleased to see you did not drop in to non league oblivion this season. I know it has been an incredibly tough few years for Plymouth and avoiding the drop is probably one of the best things to happen for some time, for all of that you have my heart felt sympathies and I hope the corner has been turned, or is at least starting to be turned.

How do you good people think next season is going to be for you? Do you think better days are not too far away or is it likely to be another grim battle for survival?

I would expect that we are in for a reasonable season with some highs and lows. Top half of the table would be nice but whatever happens I hope we are not in for another relegation dogfight.

Thanks for the sentiments ThaiCanary. In the main I expect it to be more or less what homepark_hobo has said above. I will stop short of saying a promotion push is expected or should happen. But, I could not take another dogfight I think. We should be comfortably in the top half of the table. With a bit of luck we should be knocking on the door in the playoffs and perhaps with a lot of luck we just might go straight up.

There are those who are already saying we should get promoted because we are a bigger club than the majority in this league. I don't do this big club small club thing. Every club starts on nil points and has 46 games to do something with. There is no god given right to anything no matter what potential a club has or has not got. I would rather set my sights a little lower and hopefully be surprised with a prize at the end. Supporters should know by now that nothing is a given in football whoever you might be and whoever the opposition may not be.. If it was cut and dried then there would be no point in it would there.

You'll just have to get your canoe out AWAYINBC. Bears ****ting in the woods is cut and dried but that's why it isn't a spectator sport.

A very reasonable point of view. Hope you can make at least some progress this time round and you can start to believe better days may be ahead again <ok>
