Hamilton made a mistake and now Button is a tenth quicker than Vettel after the track has seen a few soft tyre runs, so it's looking close.

Yeah Seb made a mistake as well so it's looking close but it depends if Seb uses the current rear setup or Webbers again come qualifying.

Might just be concentrating on race setup and pretty much ignoring qualifying as their little stunt last time almost worked.

    What happened to Alonso?

His options are actually primes painted yellow by the looks of it.

Webber hoping to creep around the outside on the grass until the grass ran out. Half of the gravel trap on the track now.

There is a slot on top of his side pod, you can see it while on board.

It's about the same size as your hand being flat.

RBR race pace is not looking as good as lotus and McLarens I feel.

    I not so sure...
Last year they did a lot of sandbagging in practice and the real pace came in q3.

I don't think you can really sandbag this season since its so tight. Unless RBR intend to go on the prime after the first stop while McLaren/Lotus go on the prime on the 2nd stop could just be the answer. But being almost a second off on "heavy fuel" gives me a few doubts about their race pace.

<laugh> Loads of people say this but two races have been won from pole this year, three by the guy who lead into the first corner, and the other one was a wet race. Quali is still half the battle, especially here where it's difficult to overtake.

My bet on Button isn't looking too shabby. <diva> No doubt he'll be complaining this time tomorrow that the grip just disappeared in Q3 :undecided:

Right I'm putting my neck on the line here and concluding where the air flow of this tunnel is going now before the likes of scarbs find out because people can't see where it's going.

    My opinion:
The air flow from the tunnel under the sidepod is passed back through the car to the slot on the top front of the sidepod. This hole directs this airflow over the sidepod and ontop of the exhaust gases pushing it down further as shown by the slope affect of the new exhaust layout and thus improving downforce levels at high speed.
