I hadn't either, but it's funny how some players leave an impression. As I alluded to earlier, he had no humility. We'd just had our pants pulled down and his comments were unjustified and unnecessary.
Utter bollocks... short of a referendum on 'Who would you prefer to go down?' it's all supposition and value laden opinion. File under chip paper...
I so want us to get a point so we can say we did it off our own backs and shove that up their collective asses. Oh, and I really dont give a flying fcuk if that means United win the title!
I noticed that our former brother 'Northolt' left this comment for PatPrick Barclay at the bottom of his article.... Northolt_QPR Is this one bitter old sweaty sock backing his brethren Coyle or is The London Evening Standard backing Bolton with the rest of the country over QPR one of their local clubs? Unbelievable you publishing this! Bolton are boring they've had their time in the Prem, QPR is where the story is at, and Paddy, if you weren't washed up, you'd see that!
Good old North still on the ball. I wonder what happened between him and the Super Mods? I know Brix can't divulge so do any of y'all know anything about it?
On the same basis however most would find it immensely gratifying if the fourth from bottom club beat the top.
Can I take it then that you and your fellow canaries are hoping for a QPR win on Sunday? I didn't get that impression from reading your board..
I think its great that all these other people want Bolton to stay up and Man City to win....it kind of makes us the bad guy......and you know that if you pull it off, you can turn round and look at their faces of sheer disapointment and laugh.....while singing We R QPR! Oh it shall be joyous occasion! And as for Muamba....they guy is alive and kicking and as stated be well paid by his insurance......why does that mean Bolton should stay up?? People die every day from disease and he didnt?
I can't believe you people - we should ALL be supporting Bolton. They had a player who was seriously ill and recovered with the best possible medical care. Don't you realise that, if the media picks up on it, we all have to leap aboard the burgeoning bandwagon until Muamba gets dropped for the next big scoop. If that happens before Sunday then fine but otherwise, supporting the Hoops is paramount to warcrime, pushing old ladies into the road and stealing kids lunch money. BTW is there an emoticon on here for sarcasm??? Seriously though, Muamba seems like a nice lad but I think this saga is being inflated and slowly bled dry until interest wanes - there's more faux sympathy from the papers than anything genuine (which makes it a worse crime IMO). Football will carry on irrespective and there's very rarely a neutral (as the article proves) since most people have reasons to like/dislike teams for a myriad of reasons and people will know who they want to win the title or see stay up.

Believe me you'd struggle to find a more anti-Chelsea journo than Barclay. Only Patrick Collins and Ian Ridley could trump him
Strange choice of employer. On the rare occasions I've watched The Sunday Supplement he's come across as decent enough but evidently a **** and a **** that looks like something out of Star Trek to boot.
that country might be behind bolton. but everyone i know in this country are honorary qpr fans and are 100% behind qpr except for the 2 ****ty fans
to rephrase from Ciarrai, I do give a crap who's behind us on Sunday - I'd like it to be Wolves, Blackburn and ....Bolton
