Having the Hammers in the prem is much more a benefit than your ****y little team. People stopped caring about ****hampton when Le Tiss ****ed off.
Southampton fans are allways so anti-West Ham, even when the season is over, I just need to find all the "Cardiff will beat you threads" from Southampton fans and we will see whose deluded. (Apologies to Southampton fans who have moved on from the season and are looking towards next season instead of having digs at West Ham)
Guys I do apologise for this numbskull coming on here. Yes weSouthampton fans have all celebrated, reflected and moved on from the season yet wish West Ham all the best in the play-off final. You certainly deserve to be in the Prem As for the Chelski fan above, you seem to forget that the late, great Peter Osgood played for both of our fine teams along with several other notable players over the years. And no, the Chelsea fans I know do not regard us as a ****y little club, they are delighted to see us back. Chelsea-on-Sea we are affectionately referred to as in some quarters. I guess every club has its idiots, I for one understand that being neck and neck all season can be annoying (Southampton have gotten on my nerves so many times this season ) but now the season is over I have nothing but respect for Southampton as both clubs have made it a great race for 2nd spot.I know southampton fans and at the start of the season you would of been one of the ones I would of liked to come up with us if we did(even if I didn't expect it). Hopefully we will meet next season
Must say I cannot see the justice of a team in the play offs who finished some 10/11 points ahead of the team in 4th place. The football league say the play offs are the thing that keeps the championship alive in the second half of the season. Not convinced on that one. And why shouldn,t the team finishing 4th from bottom in the Premier be in the play offs. Just a case of looking after their own I think. May the best team win at Wembley - I think Blackpool are a real threat & they seem to be able to handle the play-offs - they have a lot ofpractice!
The OP wins this months Soppy Bollocks trophy Cheers to the real Saints fans and the Chelsea fan IMO, the play offs are unfair for many reasons and i am old enough to remember that the top 3 went up and there were no play offs. Like everything else in todays game, its all about £££.
I have West Ham as the 2nd leg of a treble, after Citeh winning the prem, so I may blow a few bubbles myself. I'd like to say that Chelsea can p!55 off, but they're the third leg.
I have a lot of time for West Ham and Fat Sam in particulary. Fat Sam is much respected here in Southampton, without his help we'd be facing the play offs ourselves.....
