Mama Mia! The day before you came that's the sort of thing we both seem to do, knowing me, knowing you! One of us ought to get it right. I just wish somebody would gimme, gimme, gimme some help with this sort of technology. I should send out an SOS. I have a dream that I've just met my Waterloo, but I guess that's just the name of the game? It's all money, money, money these days and the winner takes it all. Er,...etc.
I always thought that "There was something in the air tonight, he shot it wide, Fernando [Torres]" would make a good chant (but not after the other week).
Hi guys - City fan in peace here.... Have you sold out your allocation? - should be a good game, think your boys have done admiral for your first season (first in years anyway!), would love you to stay up but obviously we need to win, so hope its a good game, win for City and Stoke stuff Bolton! Us from the Bluemoon forum are not thinking it will be an easy game - far from it, especially with the likes of Hughes, Batron & Ned coming back with points to prove, we all think we need to get an early goal to calm the nerves and then make you attack us and leave gaps for Herman/Kun to explore. Best chance you have of causing an upset is attack down the wings with balls into Zamora and don't press to high, if you come and park the bus the game will be over by halftime (thats what 13 or the other 17 teams did!!). Anyway best of luck to those who are going - we have a tunnel cam feature on www.mcfc.co.uk after the match which is always good to watch - beers around City Square would be advised rather than Manchester centre. Enjoy the game lads!
Thanks for your comments mate, nice to hear it from a city perspective. We have sold out our end, so should be a good atmosphere. I do hope City win the title over Man U, but certainly not at our expense! So a draw will do nicely and then Utd to draw away at Sunderland - happy days all round!
Indeed you have Colly. All season in fact. And its not gone unnoticed. I just wish Hughes would listen to ye!!
Would have been fantastic if we could have held on and chalked up the win - that would have been a game of legends. Despite the loss, the old guard of Derry/Hill/Mackie, even Paddy really held strong for us today.
You speak for me too Kilburn. Those players were immense today, and what a second half from Paddy! He was in the zone as the americans say.
