On a very laggy stream , but yes managed to watch the whole game! We were brilliant at times and only had a bad period after they scored. Nolan ban was disappointing though as I'm sure Pardew will have told him to watch out as we need him at Villa because of Tiote's ban.
The ban was bound to happen so it's just as well to get it out of the way now and not have to worry about getting booked every game. He couldn't go around as if he was walking on hot cinders.
This! Realistically the Manure game isn't something we can look towards with any great expectation, so better we lost him for that than later games in the season...Plus, if we were to get a spanking off them, at least there's a psychological confidence booster knowing we've got a few lads coming back for the Blackpool game, which is far more realistic a place to pick up points! It's a shame he's missing Villa and that midfield will be very makeshift, but I'd say if Shane Ferguson is fit, play him at LM and Jonas at RM!
