... and apologies for overlooking Birmingham in this... ... head says West Ham because, in theory, they are the bigger club and should therefore be the bigger threat if they were still in this division next season (although they might be financially bereft paying their wage bill without prem TV rights etc) ... but heart wants Blackpool because you just know Hollowhead will play cavalier, 7 up front away from home, footie and be a further breath of fresh air (after the Swans and Norwich this year) in the Prem .... wheras Allardyce will play one up front at home and, unless they strengthen further, the Hammers will be coming back .... thoughts?
Maybe for the sake of us it would be best for West Ham to go up because i can see Blackpool struggle to keep hold of their best players in the summer. People like Tom Ince and Matty Phillips would have attracted alot of interest from the prem over the course of the season. While West Ham will lose some but they will still keep most of them and will be able to attract decent players I hold nothing against Ollie or Blackpool but i want West Ham to go up
Neither are Leicester, neither are our rivals so don't really care who goes up - only who stays with us. The Blackpool lot are a laugh when they come over here but I want to go to Upton Park while it still exists. Other then that - meh.
WHU will go up, mainly due to momentum, wining 5-0 on agg in a play-off is quite impressive by any standard. Agree that this is one team i'd rather not have in this division next year.
You could be right - but I fancy Blackpool for a smash & grab tonight due to their dangerous forwards and I don't think it will suit Brum to have to chase the game given that they are a goal down from the first leg... will be interseting
You would of found it hard to congratulate us when we won 6 - 1 on aggregate after the banter we have currently
Blackpool for me too. 3rd never win the playoffs final from what I recall. It's always the lower placed team
Pool just have that gung ho, never say die, fook it no one likes us attitude! But actually people do like that that? Where was that when Olly was with us?
But we had Gabor Bori, Zsolt Laczko, Kelvin Etuhu, Matt Oakley, James Wesolowski and crap like that creating them And Matty Fryatt, Iain Hume, Barry Hayles, Steve Howard and DJ Campbell trying to score them We could of went gung ho and still wouldnt of scored I remember when we played Bristol at home and drew 0-0. Still dont have a bloody clue how we didnt score that game
That's really the point behind the article ... but I have a strange feeling that all the nerves will be with The Hammers on the day and Blackpool have the armoury to beat anyone in a one-off ...
