When will thick daft Huns realise Walter Smith was part of the problem Rangers are in the mess they are today . He bullied Murray into spending money they never had . He threatened to resign as Celtic went for 4 in a row and Murray caved in and bought Smith the players required after the defeat in Kanaus .

Maybe the sainted Walter has contacts in high finance (good corporate citizens), maybe he is simply the bannerman for the Orc army who will lead the next march on SFA HQ. In summary I will believe it when I see it, but as far as i'm concerned they could exhume Bill Struth and reanimate him for all the difference it will make. If the fans need someone like Walter to rally behind before committing themselves then I would suggest it is already a lost cause.
I think they would be better going for Bill Struth himself. Don't go for the messenger when you can get the man himself. When Struth was in charge, he didn't have any papists around and Rangers had no financial problems either. Rangers need to get back to basics and as Jardine says fight everyone who gets in their way.
