Amir Khan's on the May 19th is in doubt after Peterson has failed a drugs test, his B sample was also tested and he has failed that as well.

Khan lost his titles back in December to Peterson in a controversial hometown decision. Now questions have to be raised in the likelihood that Peterson was doping back then too.

For those that have bought tickets for this fight are probably getting worried, whether the event will be canceled or will Khan find a replacement.

Peterson needs to be banned for this for at least 2-4 years to send out a deterrent to would be cheat.

If true, then he needs stripping of his titles and banning for a very long time.

It wont happen though - the 'all American boy' will get protected somehow or other.

He's been sold as the American dream over there... coming from the streets and becoming a World Champion - only to be found out as a drugs cheat? <laugh>

They'll get 'round it somehow or other. <doh>

Testosterone pellets held in the armpits. Thought he could get away with it.

Peterson was probably using them for sometime now.

Think they dissolve and absorbed into the glands. Don't know if that makes them harder to detect.

The Peterson camp are claiming he needed to take them because he had abnormally low testosterone level.

By all account, this would not have been picked up by the tests Floyd Mayweather has been using.

<laugh> Sanction the fight under the umbrella of the PBF (sounds like a boxing organisation) and go ahead with the plan <ok>

If Peterson’s T/E ratio (testosterone to epitestosterone) had been under the allowable limit of 6:1 in Nevada, he would have possibly escaped detection of synthetic testosterone use as NSAC and USADA do not use the CIR method unless a high T/E ratio shows up first as a red flag.

    Floyd uses the USADA tests.

Was looking forward to the fight.

Time for this drug cheat to be banned for a long time to teach him a lesson.

Doesn't low testerone make you grow a vagina or something? <laugh>

Peterson's excuse is doesn't wash, he should be banned for a long time and have his fight record wiped for when he comes back.

Peterson was the one that demanded the random tests, he thought he could have got away with it. With USADA WADA testing he would have.

The fight is off, the event is off, they will try and get the undercard fighting the week after and Khan will be looking for an opponent to fight in June.

Khan will look to get the first fight declared a no contest, and considering Peterson said he was on the pellets prior to the first fight, it will probably done, and Khan will get his belts back.

When Peterson fought Ortiz his ring weight was 147lbs, and when he fought Khan ring weight 155lbs, both fights were at 140lbs weight division.
