    He evaded human justice for his monstrous crimes, but he has not evaded divine justice, because God is not mocked. Perpetrators of gross historical injustices face a rude shock who assume that sacramental coverage or faith in justification by faith in their private lives are free from condemnation for their public deeds. It all depends on contrition and on what you did for and to the poorest and the weakest. There is something wrong with your contrition if you remain adamant you were right to do what you did in power, or that they deserved it. That goes double for those who blasphemously slaughter God's beloved poor in the name of defence of Christian civilization, like Pinochet and his hero General Franco.

    Pinochet was a Megalomanic, a common trait of unchecked autocratic dictators throughout history. Thier morals negated by their relentless compulsion to pursue control.
