Young was not **** before he joined Man Utd Shows how much you know. Young has completely out performed Downing this season (mind you, who hasn't?) and his stats throughout his career have bettered Downing's, contrary to the morons who claimed Downing was the better player.

I think that Shelvey, like a number of the united youngsters (Smalling, Jones, Wellbeck etc) all have the potential to be top players. In the case of Shelvey, I have seen him developing since breaking into the Charlton first team. The problem that I have with Matths posts is that it's like reading a pantomime script, (oh yes he will, oh no he won't) If a united poster says player x is crap, two posts later Matth agrees. If another united poster then says player x is great, again two posts later Matth agrees with that comment.
i laugh at these jokers who claim Downing's better then Young haha, they continue to make fool out of themselves, they always talk crap, even their players, everyone remember Gerrard's "joe cole is better then messi"'s quote... admit it already Young is a better player then Downing, what more to they need to believe it? dowining done sh** all this season for Scousers
Give Cleverley a break, he was brilliant at the start of the season, looked like England's going to get another fine young fresh player but injury ruined his progress and stopped his game time, but now eh is fit and i believe Sir Alex is keeping him fresh and ready for next season thats why he's not getting much game time at the moment because season's finishing, there's no point risking him, he'll be back.

Vidic is better, that's a fact, im sure Kompany himself would say the same and im sure he did rate Vidic as the best in the league once on twitter. But comparing Downing to Young is like comparing Heskey to Ronaldo because Downing is s*** overrated player.
It's not really a fact at all though. In fact it's the very definition of an opinion. If Kompany played for United and Vidic for City you'd be just as adamant that Kompany is better.
Don't get mt wrong, im not saying Vidic is better then him because im a united fan, because its the truth, he'll be back next season and he'll prove you all wrong,funny how people start writing him off because of an big injury when he hasn't even played a game yet.
I don't think anyone has written him off at all. It's just odd that you don't seem to be able to differentiate between your opinion, that Vidic is the better footballer, and facts, of which there are none.
