Atletico Madrid vs Athletic Bilbao (scum destroyers) Starting on channel 5 now. People watching? I think it will be a very good game and lots of goals. Hope to see one or two players at Anfield next season (I wish). Edit: Europa League Final of course. Busy watching.
1-0 Falcao scores. 33 league goals this season, somewhat overshadowed by Messi and Ronaldo, but that is good figures.
Not much interest then? 2-0 anyway and Madrid are looking very good, but so are Bilbao in places. Neither team has champions league football, so possible for a signing...Falcao and or Munain would be pretty nice.
I hope we had scouts at that game. Fantastic match. Bilbao, I thought, were the better team to watch, had more possession and chances but just couldn't get that final ball/finish (sounds familiar?!) but Madrid were just too clinical and had a massive work rate throughout. Really good game. Muniain is going to be some player in the next two years, I expect alot of europe's top teams to be looking at him this summer - if not, we should be before we're priced out or have to compete with the other big guns (after last night's match, this might already be the case). Chelsea's on-loan keeper had a great game, they look to have a ready made replacement for Cech there - shame really.
