I am glad you enjoy people pointing out your ignorance, you must be very happy.

So on that theme, was the aquittal overturned or was it just yet another case of you talking bollox?

Well lets look at the whole thing.

The Sun made allegations that he had taken money to fix games. They then filmed him taking money to fix a game. He was charged along with 2 others and went to trial in 1997. The jury failed to reach a verdict so a retrial happened and again the jury could not agree on a verdict and all 3 walked free. Bruce then sued The Sun for libel and won £85,000. This verdict was then overturned before being reinstated at just £1. Bruce was also ordered to pay The Suns legal costs.

Grobbelaar in 2005 said he had taken money but only because he was trying to find out what his business partner was up to.

So.... the courts think he did it (overturning his libel case was unprecedented and unique and was based on the fact the sun had more than proved he had taken the money ), the press think he did it and he even admits to it himself with some story of how he was trying to save the game.

Whatever his reasons good or bad he still took money to fix a game of football. There was video evidence and his own confession in an interview with the Guardian in 2005.

So his acquittal was never overturned as you claimed and you were just talking bollox again.

Nice bit of google, copy and paste there, maybe next time you do that you should try to understand it before you post.

Did Utd end up punishing Bryan Robson for using a United owned property in Asia to scam money in the 'how to buy a football club' disgrace?

Forgot to mention that on its own, it's not a crime anyway. So that just leaves you with the shame of being caught, risk of deseases, gangster involvement, financial cost, wife leaving you etc..... so on balance its worth a go.

Copy and paste? lol if you say so terrif.

Anyway after his acquittal a court ruled he should be left with his reputation tarnished as he had taken cash bribes. In essence he was guilty. So after a court had acquitted him another then said he had done it. Sounds like it was overturned. It may not of been a direct overturning of the initial ruling but the final outcome is that he was guilty.

The criminal courts, remember the place where you last saw your dad before they took him away? So yes the criminal courts never found him guilty.

The reason it "Sounds" like that to you is because you are an imbecile with no understanding of how the law works.

Nah when a court takes the piss out of you by awarding you £1 in damages and says you must pay The Suns legal costs because you are guilty and you are a disgrace* it really means they are saying the court was wrong to find you innocent.

    * not literally those words terrif, I know how you like things to be precise and what not.

Do you think he was guilty terrif, out of interest?

The fact that you do not know the difference between civil and criminal proceedings proves my point re your lack of legal knowledge. Thats before we even start on the prostitute thing.

First of all I said I meant paying for a sex with a prostitute.

Second I know full well about criminal and civil courts. It doesnt change the fact he was guilty. The fact you are pathetically making something out to be untrue simply based on the fact you are a gimp doesnt change that now does it terrif.

You say I dont know anything about anything but terrif, I and everyone else here is yet to see you post any evidence you have any idea about what you post about. Funny that isnt it?

So in a post full of guff, you try to claim I know nothing yet also try to back up your claim that paying for sex is in itself a crime? <doh>

I love your courage and determination, you come on here despite your condition and associated learning difficulty and try to talk to "normal" people, no matter how foolish it makes it you look you stick with it. You are a beut!
