Watching his DVD I can see what you mean. The ease at which he scored goals at a high level was amazing.
Given the correct coaches and assistant manager (Horton) I can see Dean doing okay. and given that the allems need to appoint a man popular with the fans i can see him being on the shortlist of possible candidates.
Doubt if Deano can even spell CV, but I wish him well, we could certainly do with him teaching our current strike force to score.
I think a management team consisting of Brown, Horton, Ashbee and Windass would get the fans back onside. The only problem is that it may be too legendary for some people to handle.
I like it, Horton tactics, Brown pr, Ashbee motivator and Windass telling them how to put the ball in the back of the net, its a fricking dream team
LOL Mclean 20+ striker cos of Deano?..yeah perhaps in pints!.How many players at club actually care about ex players etc?.Ill take the best managers/coaches going tnx and like the players i dont care where their from.little sentiment in todays game am afraid no matter how romantic it sounds.
Did someone just say Aaron Mclean and twenty goals a season in one sentence? How can anyone ever say that, in all his career at this level he hasn't scored 20 goals has he? What is there back that ludicrous claim up?
Nice one party hull, shows the Allams do read these boards!(where else do they get the supporters feelings).Would love mad Mick and the best coaches he can muster...none of this Deano sh1te if u please.
What if you said "Aaron McLean will never score twenty goals in a season."? Oh, and I believe he's scored 16 goals in 97 Championship games for Hull & Peterborough combined, 8 goals for each. Surprisingly poor considering his League One effectiveness was about as good as Fryatts.
