Interesting twitter exchange between Simon Peach (journalist) and Jordan Sibley (Saints media man) now indicating something happening tomorrow. Wonder what it could be? Big announcement at St Mary's or just some mates going golfing?
I was just reading that. I think it's just a general media day? Wouldn't usually discuss something like that over twitter?
No details divulged, so who knows? Though Sibley's assertion that he's an "interested observer" rather than "infuriated organiser" suggest to me it's not going to anything worth getting excited about.
Well via a friend of a friend of a friends brother's sister in laws uncles nethew i have found out what the big event is. Rupert Lowe will be on board next season, he wants in on the new cash injection. P.S don't you just love this time of the year with all the rumours flying around left right and centre
Might be completely wrong but I think Hawk-Eye are moving in with their technology tomorrow and there is a bit of press attention coming with it. They are testing it on the Hampshire FA Cup Final which is next Wednesday.
Well Simon Peach has confirmed to those asking that it's totally not Saints related. It's just something which St. Mary's is the venue for. I think it is for the goal-line tech thing.
Shouldn't be to much going on as there all away on a club Hol and it's not Las Vegas, it got changed.
At the Coventry game, there was a large camera in the Itchen/Northam corner that I hadn't noticed before. Might that have had something to do with the technology or just another TV camera? I believe the early tests have had the cameras there but not used.
I heard that Steve Wigley's newest signing is Ali Dia's younger brother. Not as skilful, obviously, but with loads of potential.
Yes! That's it, the goal line technology. Kris Temple was talking about it on South Today this evening saying they would be live from there tomorrow or something. I guess a lot of the national media will be there given recent goal line madness!
