I think realistically, the only way of regaining the glory days is to get Big ron back as manager!!

Chances are yopu are going to be very surprised.

Uefa have got the backing of the EU, thats a tad bit more power than a Billionaire Arab. City, yeh thats the club these rules are made for, not to intentionally **** them over but to show them that you cannot just buy your way to the top, a little effort is required at least.

Also, Platini has staked his presidency on these rules so you can bet he isn't going to allow them to be circumvented.

Now the EU has said the rules meet no objection from them a legal challenge will be hard. Its still unknown if Citys mega stadium deal is legal un FFP rules so at the minute it will be tough for them to meet the targets.

Look at the resources Microsoft, Google and every bank in the UK have. Didn't help them "side step" the regulations in their industries. If UEFA stick to their guns then City can delay them for a bit with frivolous lawsuits, but ultimately they will have to comply or they'll be ****ed.

Whether UEFA stick to their guns or not is a different matter, but if you aren't sure about their track record on that kind of stuff I suggest you ask Portsmouth or Ranger <ok>

Ever hear of Real MAdrid? Ever hear of Chelsea?

Both go against your stupid idiotic comment<doh> Both have spent more than city in persuit of titles and failed

Didn't hear you slagging them offf for paying 80m for Ronaldo? They didn't win the league after buying him and a host of others either, in fact you praise them over Barca quite a bit when Real epitomise everything wrong with football. Oh wait, they are not challenging you for a title so its fine, see what I'm getting at Bittermuch

Chelsea and United are where they are because of money, anythng else is pure fkn lies, no cash no success. Just cos city are now muscling in on that, a few years ago it was chelsea because they were challenging, baning on abut RA ect because they are not challenging it is ok for them to waste 50m on a sub, portray it any way ye want, it is that city are a force that pisses ye off, not only that, they play the better football have better players so all you got is history:), bitter fkn cnuts the lot of ye

First we all have issues with Real Madrid, they are as you say everything thats wrong with the game.

Chelsea didnt spend anywhere near what City have spent to win their first title, nowhere near.

Just so you know, since the arab came in hes spent on the playing side of things £800million. Thats in 3 years, thats an average of around £270million a year.

We are where we are because of success. Nothing else, no success means no cash for us. Its that simple.

Also that last bit, have you got any idea how ironic that is considering how us United fans have been tearing you scousers to pieces over the history thing for 2 decades....

Plus we dislike City because they, Chelsea, Real Madrid, PSG, Malaga and others are going to kill the game off. To not dislike these clubs says alot about a football fan. United may not be liked but thats because we win things the proper way, by building a squad based on our own ability to pay. What City are doing is a Leeds, spending money thats not theirs in a desperate and pathetic attempt to be a big player. Leeds got ****ed big time for it, City have a very rich owner who as long as hes their will bankroll the club as City have not got a penny of their own, they are worthless. He goes and City die. No chance of another buyer coming in as the debts would dwarf the rest of english football combined.

I say let them enjoy their brief spell as a big club, they will need the memories soon enough.

United don't spend an oil rich sugar daddy's money. They are totally self sufficient (in fact, their owners are reliant on the club). Any money that United spend on transfers is money made by the club through merchandising, sponsorship, etc. You can't compare United to City or Chelsea.
