That's the only thing I can think of. But since BD was sacked they have employed and sacked McLaren. Is he still being paid by them too?
They didn't, he's been free to take another job since he was sacked last June, he was a favourite for the Leeds job at the end of Jan.
Because financially they are shafted, so rather than a lump sum, they've paid in installments to the end of his contract. Hence him not working for another club until his contract had expired.
Yes. Read post No.9 of this thread. Davies is good at championship level But i dont see him as a PL manager. Just ask Derby County fans.
Both seperate. Forest put BD on whatever you want to dress it up as Just as long as they keep paying him. McClaren walked away with no payment. His choice to walk.
I thought so. The link below from September last year doesn't seem to suggest that he was unable to take another post either... http://www.dailyrecord.co.uk/footba...am-is-over-now-we-need-a-club-86908-23412807/
His big problem at Forest was that they had a 'transfer acquisitions panel' or somesuch thing and pretty much every target he went for could not be agreed upon by the members of the panel and so in the end nothing happened. Basically he put forward a player or a postion he wanted filled, a bunch of businessmen discussed it and, with their collective football nous, turned all requests down. He's a more than decent manager in this league, but he needs the tools or he's gonna be trouble. I'm keen.
Correct. The sale of Wes Morgan to LCFC was for cash injection reasons only. Same as when we sold Turner.
A quick search on google shows that BD was in the frame for both the Leeds and Leicester jobs. He also expressed an interest to return to Forest after McLaren left. If he could not take any job then he would not have been linked to any of these I would have thought.
If a Forest fan had poster a similar article on our board, there'd have been at least two people who'd have told them to **** off by now....
