First link today about interest in Heskey. However, it was in the free Metro and I dont think their journalists have the inside knowledge!! The other club interested was Leicester. Some cracking work there then!!
I will state it here and now that I will be the first poster on here, should we sign Heskey, to absolutely slaughter the man I have backed with all my being for the past 4 months. I don't dislike Heskey at all (actually always thought he was a canny footballer myself) but he is too old now, past his sell by date and would send out altogether the wrong signals as to where we are going under MoN. I hope this is just the usual lazy journalism, or else a short lived honeymoon period will come crashing down around Martins ears in the summer.
Leicester/previous club and Sunderland/O'Neill - I am certainly leaning towards the lazy journalist side.

this, though heskey could do no worse than wickham has this season (i know he's only a kid and i hope he proves me wrong but he hasn't impressed me 1 bit)
