Phil, sorry mate I do know I have a habit of sometimes sitting on the fence and not being decisive enough !!!

Looking back at my post I apologise as I can now see I was being mild in my assessment of QPR and was too kind in my assessment if them, the horrible fcuking twats that they are !!

Some might not care, others do. As participants in the league we should take some interest, however slight, as we're playing the successful team next season.

I would like to see QPR go down, mainly because of the tossers on their site, but I think it will be Bolton.

"what possible difference would it make to us who goes down"

Well as I have to spell it out.....<doh>

We are playing in the Premier League next season.
The team that doesn't go down will be playing two games against us. A potential 6 points for us, either way.
QPR have bags of money. If they stay up Fernandes will throw more at the Club. They will be stronger imo.

Even if I'm wrong about the last point we should all have an interest in who our competition will be next season if we are to avoid second season syndrome. Our points will be won or lost against teams like that and results against the big boys are a bonus.

    Clear enough?

I don't CARE who goes and who stays tbh, but I am very INTERESTED in who stays and who goes. That's the difference.

And Stoke is a tough place to go when you need to win to stay up. So Bolton down for me. Having said that though, didn't Wigan win there on the last day last season to stay up? OK, maybe QPR down. <laugh>

Good call from aswan_dam, Grinning~Cur, Knackeredjack, Stereotongue, Terrorwit, and er...myself.
Bolton join Wolves and Blackburn in the Championship. So the two high valued players that left us at the end of last season to join clubs they believed had a better chance than us in the Prem, have both been relegated with there chosen teams... See, the grass isn't always greener.
This does of course mean that QPR have survived the bottom of the table battle and will be one of our opponents next season...just.
