Fabianski scares the crap out of me so anybody is a better backup than him. He has great shotstopping ability but thats all. Everything else about his game is beyond useless. I cant think of another high profile keeper to make soo many big errors in soo few games.
Have to agree. He's a great shot stopper, but his decision making is heart stoppingly worrying. I **** myself everytime I see him on the teamsheet. That said, as a back up, we could do worse.

i heard it was a done deal for arsenal, based on whether we get CL football or not. i expect him to go to Arsenal or Tottenham, and he will decide based on who has guaranteed CL football next season (3rd place)

It's only natural at this point for prospects to only think of Arsenal as a bridge to more 'ambitious' clubs. I don't like it, but it is what it is.
He could have at least said he's flattered by our interest instead he just completely by passed the question when asked about us. Though you may have a point in that he was simply being honest rather then meaninglessly raising expectation.
