Yeh, that one will take the heat off everyone this weekend and sure to be all over the papers tomorrow, what a muppet eh? I'd have been doing backflips if i'd just scored a hat trick in front of millions of viewers.

Man Utd have just announced that when Wayne Rooney's current contract expires it will not be renewed, they intend to release him back into the wild.......

Colleen must be daft spending all that money on expensive presents for her man when he would be just as happy hitting an old tractor tyre with a stick

I've got to admit, I never considered the scouse ugly puss as human, in fact he looks more like one of those inbreds from America's deep south, anyone know if he can play the banjo?

Cockney rhyming slang would call him a merchant-banker....and I would agree!!

Wish we could transfuse his passion into a couple of our players.
You just know if he could get away with it, he would be on the local park having a kickabout 10 minutes after the final whistle at OT.

Not defending him as he knew what he was doing but please watch a replay of the "elbow" McCarthy turns looks at him sees he is going to make a run and prepares to bodycheck him, Rooney sees it and jumps through him. I would have done the same when I played. Rooneys arm is up and catches him not his elbow.

So you would prefer what? fore-arm smash? come on MR your posts make more sense than this usually.

    "Jumps through him"

"clatters through him with arm raised"
