With no director of football, I wonder if Darran Robinson is bending Ehab's ear in support of Billy Davies?

It's a great point not really mentioned too much, the allam's have stated they want to have more control over the football side but both know very little about the game, I sit close to assem and he sits there with a vacant almost demonic grin on his face oblivious to what's happening on the pitch, ehab also had no interest in sport at school and is equally clueless about football, Darren Robinson is close to ehab and thinks very highly of himself if it's him expect billy Davies to be the next manager

To be fair, we could all say that regardless of who we're sat near in the ground :D

Ok Nick has gone, and so has Adam, although I'd question how much value Adams given in the last few months, but the club hasn's suddenly lost all the staff that know football. It's not just the Allams and the players left at the KC.

I don't think Adam Pearson not bring here is a problem when it comes to picking a manager. I'd question how much he actually knew about football.

I'd also question why this Darren Robinson fella is getting so much stick, he's probably just a regular coach sat at home, confused as much as the rest of us, yet suddenly he's the anti-christ.

He's friends with the Allams, or something like that.

they'll probably welcome an "advisory" role.. at least I'd hope so but Directors of football cost money and they're cost-cutting at the mo.. perhaps they'll hire a consultant..

He's sat at home thinking up more cringey bollocks to put up on his website, probably, he's almost certainly the anti-christ.

I see a Nigel Adkins situation arising!
Amongst his many credentials, such as Europe's leading light entertainer, world class seamstress, Leader of the free world and Jedi Knight, does it say he can manage?
    Hmmm?
I hear the doctoring of Wickipedia pages and websites!!!

'Who might the owners turn to for guidance on choosing a new manager?' Maybe they should give Barmby a ring

AP, for all that he was good on running the business, did not have a stellar track record in choosing managers.

That's not really true, Molby and Parkinson were considered good appointments at the time, they just didn't work out for us.

There was only the Dowie appointment that was a complete **** up.

I still cant help think Dowie was given a poison chalice, and no time to do anything. Is he really that bad of a manager or was he just unlucky/stupid to come into try and save us when we were really beyond saving.

I remember Parky coming and being excited over his new fangled ideas about sports science and stuff. How that went wrong.

Obviously they failed, my point is that AP can hardly be blamed for bringing in highly rated up and coming managers, they weren't considered poor appointments when he made them. It's just with the benefit of hindsight that people take a pop. When we signed Parksinson particularly, there was nothing but positivity on the boards, now everyone's a genius who always knew he was ****e.
