Dont rule anything out anymore. For sure NP wont have the money available that he thinks he will have.
What a great choice as Director of Football @ Hull City. PG can have his break from the game as well as looking after us here. Outstanding choice and thought.
If Nick were to go, I would have Mick McCarthy in the blink of an eye. He's a good honest hard working manager the kind players love with an excellent record in this division. Have to say I would also love to see Brownie back, football IS supposed to be entertainment hand his reign here was a rollercoaster ride every day, plus he is an excellent coach.
The thing is, look at what he did at Preston and Derby... it's not brilliant. Maybe it's the man fitting the job but for me I think we need a brand new manager e.g. Lee Clark/Mick McCarthy. One name I've been pondering that hasn't been mentioned, would anyone take Steve Bruce?
No. Another geordie gobshite to go alongside Brown imo. He can spunk away loads of money though, as shown at Sunderland. O'Neil has improved the same players immeasurably so that tells you all about Bruce's management skills.
I think we'll be fine with any of the following: Lee Clarke Billy Davis Mick MacCarthy Ollie Gunner Soulscar De Canyo
DI Canio is a non-starter for many reasons, Joyce didn't fancy it before so why would he fancy it now? Clark is gash.
McCarthy & Joyce have now moved from 14-1 to 8-1. I don't see why, I reckon there's about a 0.1% chance of Joyce coming, if that.
The bookies still seem convinced that it's going to be Davies, judging by these odds... http://www.oddschecker.com/football/football-specials/hull-specials/next-permanent-manager
