Nothing to do with football and I'm only putting it on here after a few lads said they didn't really know much about Northern Ireland and the troubles...

Today a 25 year old, newly qualified Policeman was murdered in Omagh purely because of his job. Scum, claiming to be the Continuity Irish Republic Army (CIRA) planted a bomb underneath his car, which exploded at around 4:00pm.

I am hoping that this will merely bring both sides of the community together in a show of resilience in the face of these ****ing idiots! It's a sad day for Northern Ireland and it's certainly brought me back down to earth with a bump!

Just keep doing your thing Jesus Was A Geordie, most of us are right behind you. Was sitting beside some guys that had come over from Northern Ireland today, a costly day out fro them and I'm pleased we put a show on for them to make it worth their time and money.

 

Absolutely shocking to think that can happen to someone who is a similar age to me. RIP.

I seem to remember seeing somewhere that you were 39.
