Would be a bit boring if all cars were black. ( aeroplane 'black' boxes are actually red in colour. )
Stopped for some teenager this afternoon who was lurking a yard from a pelican crossing. He didn't make any attempt to cross so after about 3-4 seconds, I motioned for him to cross. He still didn't move onto the crossing. I then moved forward and guess what? Yes, he walked onto the crossing and I had to stop immediately or I'd have hit him. It ain't just drivers that do daft things, pedestrians do as well.
Toby makes some good arguments in favour of this but, way more importantly, my ex ran off with a driving instructor - bring in driverless cars and that **** loses his livelihood. Bring it on baby.
It's a shame Google couldn't put their minds to something far more important like goal line ****ing technology
One thing about the tests that I just thought of. They took place on the West Coast of the US under conditions that are very different to here. A and B roads in the UK would be a very different prospect.
You sound like a right joyless ****. Driving is fun. If it can be turned off then fine as town driving is **** but half the fun of driving is knowing you could bounce off the road in a ball of fire if you make a mistake and I wouldn't like to lose that.
