The only thing i am remotely annoyed at is him just making up what I said.
It's all there in the thread and yet he is still making this stupid, childlike claim that "first you were all like, he's so ****. Then you were all like, he's so like rubbish. And then you were all like he's always like falling asleep"

Completely ridiculous, invented, and like talking to a teenager. In fact, he probably is. **** it, I'm going to bed, I've got to speak to adults tomorrow.

Responding to threads on the phone app is almost as annoying as reading people who used the phone app's comments.

Your opinions are not worth discussing.

To so casually dismiss players like Park, Fletcher after what they've done for us is one thing. To write off the futures of the twins and Anderson is so dumb its not worth arguing with you. How can you think the twins won't improve but smalling/jones will? How can you think Anderson won't make it but cleverly will? Has playing Phil Jones in midfield really been better than if Anderson was fit.

    You're not worth the effort.

You state that half the team is **** and needs replacing when in actual fact, apart from Cups, United have done well in the league and its only City's brilliance that stopped us walking away with it comfortably. Im guessing the 63 in your name comes from the age you were when you jumped to the United bandwagon. Its the only logical explanation for such widespread contempt you have of the team.

You can slate Rafael all you want, but next season he will still be a United player. Wonder if you'll be able to swallow your bile and support him when he plays.

Naaaaah, you'll keep attacking him won't you? call yourself a supporter.

It seems to me Ivor that, in my case anyway, you've jumped on the fact that I don't think Rafael is an especially good defender (this is based on having watched him and years of experience, I don't have crystal ball so it's my assessment. Neither do you by the way so your guess is no more valid than mine) and just ignored the rest.

My original verdict was thought out and I would bet agreed with by most United fans. If you can't see we need an overhaul then it's you with the head up the arse. We've done well this season, ridiculously well under the circumstances, but we'll probably fall just short. It's papering over the cracks though. I could be wrong on Rafael, doubt it but I could be. It is my opinion though, my inability to look into the future means I can't prove it for you though. Nor can you, ok?

By the way, I've been a United fan for over thirty years so leave the generalisations well alone.

Seriously take a chill pill lad. People are allowed a difference of opinion here. You're being to sound like one of the bitter Liverpool fans who believe Kenny can do no wrong and get their knickers in a twist when anyone dares to criticise him.

I personally do not rate Anderson and would drive the lad to anywhere just to get him to leave OT. I do not and will not accept this argument that the lad will show his worth once fit. When honestly do you ever think that will be? Saying that if he like any other players I don't rate, turns it around and shows they are worth the many thousands they are paid, I'll hold up my hand and say fair enough.

Yes Rafael will probably be at OT next season and yes he has screwed up on a number of times and there is nothing wrong with pointing that out. I'm dead against any player being booed by their own supporters, but you don't have to think the sun shines out of their arse either when they step out onto the pitch.

    Seriously calm down.

Regardless of whether or not we win the title on Sunday, there's a huge amount of work that needs to be done to the squad. So much so that's it's going to take more than one summer to achieve.

The squad is full of players who are either not good enough/too old and past it.

As much of a legend that Giggs is, it really is about time that he called it a day. For the past 4 years or so I've been hearing Ferguson harp on about how he's gradually going to give Giggs less and less responsibility and pass it onto the younger players at the club. Hasn't happened. Probably a damning indication of how little Fergie trusts some of the players. Why are we still relying on someone who has spent the previous 15 years of his career out on the wing to be our creative spark in the middle of midfield? Not good enough. Unfortunately, he signed a year's extension earlier in the season so will be around next season.

Scholes has been a revelation since he came back, but again that says more about the complete state of our midfield to start with.

Carrick is the most infuriating player at the club. He's supposedly this continental-esc player. He's fine when we're at home, have ample of time on the ball and no-one pressuring him, but the moment that teams put us under a lot of pressure and don't give us time on the ball he misplaces pass after pass..just look at the City game and how he gave the ball to everyone bar his own team-mates. Nearly every European away game follows the same pattern. He (and we as a team) find it impossible to hold onto the ball for any sustained period of time and were taught a lesson in how to keep it this season by Bilbao.

Park is a trier, and has his uses but shouldn't be near the first team on most occasions. (Why Fergie decided to throw him in against City after such little game time is still a mystery)

Berbatov I think has been harshly treated. He almost single handedly won us the league at times last season, yet couldn't even make the bench in the ECL Final ahead of Owen. Fergie's cruel way of telling him he's not wanted.

Rafael has had some poor moments, but does have time on his side. Evra for me is vastly over-rated. He's as guilty of ball watching as much as Rafael and is absolutely no-where near captain material, the sooner Vidic is back the better.

Anderson started the season in very good form, and from the back end of last season until up to where he got injured it looked as if the penny had dropped. I don't think Cleverley will make it long term. Not an out and out first teamer anyway.

Young..started the season looking every bit the United player but now resembles more of a headless chicken. Not the quality of Nani or Valencia IMO.

In the league, we've done okay this season when you consider how long we've been without Vidic, Anderson and Fletcher. Imagine City being without Kompany and Yaya Toure for most of the season.

Players I'd like to see leave; Evra (if there was a replacement available), Carrick, Giggs, Scholes, Park, Owen, Young, Macheda, Bebe.

I'd like to see us go for M'Vila, Gaitan and Hazard. Would I trust someone like Young if playing against a Barca or Madrid? Not really.

Any way, sorry for the long winded post, but it plans to be a pretty busy summer (hopefully)<ok>

The guy is abysmal, unless you only like players who can pass the ball when they've all the time in the world?

He's our best CM, and has been our best and most consistent player all year long, and yet you want to sell him.

Get rid of Carrick, he is not even close to being world class, never has been never will be. The longer we stick with british ****e like that the longer it will be till we get to a champions league final again, lets not forget he doesnt have a ronaldo anymore to help him get away with wooden legs

I agree with a lot of this and definitely the bit about about how Berbatov has been treated like ****. I think Fergie's treatment of him is diabolical and to give him a few minutes at the end of the Swans game to say farewell was ok, for what it's worth, but really he should have been helping out and offering something different against the likes of City and Wigan when we were dire and to put him on on Sunday was a piss take really.

The bit in bold about who you'd like to leave I agree with except Carrick and Young. I rate Carrick, got no issue with him. What he isn't though is a CM fulcrum and if he is to stay at the club he needs a player alongside him to compliment him as he isn't the player to carry a midfield. Someone dynamic with him and he's still worthwhile as a United player, definitely.

I wouldn't sell Young either. What I would do is have a word though as he appears to think he's made it just by being a United player whereas the reality is it should be the beginning. I don't like the diving and I don't like his stupid ****ing headphones.

Youngsters like Welbeck need to have a look at themselves blowing kisses to the crowd too, there's an attitude to the current squad that really needs to be cut out as it is this more than anything that has caused the results v Blackburn, Wigan, Everton and City that would not have occured in seasons past.

This. Carrick may have some poor games but he is still quality in my opinion. He is a playmaker that has had to get too involved in breaking up the play recently to carryout this role effectively. Carrick always seems to get the stick, when I often think others are more deserving. Personally I'm glad that we still have him as it would be shortsighted to get rid of him with question marks over Anderson, Fletcher (will he come back), Cleverly (will he make the step up), Scholes (how long can he go on), Pogba (is he staying - can he step up), Giggs (how long can he go on) and Park (loss of form).

As for Evra, I think that his form has suffered because he has been forced to play so much over the last couple of years. Hopefully we will get the required cover for next season.

I also find it surprising that Vida 15 is hoping Young leaves. Personally I think he's a good signing who has the potential to improve.

Carrick is your best cm but that isn't really much if an achievement.

****ing Ronald McDonald would be better than the toilet you field in CM.

What about the four league titles and a european cup he's won in the last five years, are they much of an achievement?

Hey " Iva big gob " I should stop smoking the pot now, it can make you skitso , you need some serious stress relief pall ! Everyone is entitled to their own opinion and just because it doesn't harmonise with your limited thought process, it isn't an excuse to accuse everyone of being wrong. For the record the 63 in my name refers to the year I started watching United, home and away and have more than likely attended more United games than you have had hot dinners. I 've also been all over Europe watching the Reds, including every final they have been in, so I think that just about gives me the right to express my own " informed opinion". If you would like to meet up at the Sunderland game next Sunday, I would gladly continue this discussion ?
