Clubbing is ****ing bollocks these days - full of poncy students bumming each other.

I want the days of 'love doves' and rushing ya tits off while gurning like a bitch, to quality tunes. Sadly those days will never return....

Went a few yars back, got battered but was so off it I didnt care, might be going again soon for Wigan Pier tour as its not too far from leeds.

 

Got battered as in fighting ? That's good old Donny for ya mate. I think the Warehouse is closed now though isn't it.

Talking of the student types, I saw two of them fighting in the street whilst out on Sunday night and it was one of the funniest fights I've ever seen. They were both bouncing round in there Chinos and t-shirts with the top botton done up, like they were a poncy Rocky Balboa. The only time either of them went down was when they threw punches and missed

 

Before my time there were places like Carlos II and Angels or Sequins in blackpool and night like Zone ( still going ) and Retro ( still going ). Then when I started going out we had Monroes in Great Harwood, Wigan Pier & MAximes in Wigan, Sunrise in Liverpool, Aquarium in Liverpool, Club 53 and loads more. All have gone, literally everyone has closed down and considering they used to be rammed every night its a sad state of affairs.

Luckily Monreos do club tours now, Wigan Pier do club tours, 051 and Pleasure Rooms back open and in the scene I love things are picking up. We are the last proper dance music scene, its all about the music, not how you look or how rich you are. For the love and thats how it should be.

Aye off some gypsies lol, got cracked with a bar of somesort and was knocked out for a few mins back in the days when you didnt need to spend a night in hospital for a bump on the head. Wasnt letting it ruin my night and considering these gypos got fire bombed later that night of the donny nuters it was all good.

Warehouse is very much open, just been refurbed and has a range of music now instead of the rave/hardcore and scouse house/bounce

Oh, if anyone didnt know, i ****ing despise commercial music, its poorly made to attract the lowest common denominator, ******s ( thats would be girls aged 12-15 ).

Over 1400 in a 800 capacity venue for the last ever night at Wigan Pier ( 21 years at the forefront of Uk dance music, even has 2 platinum albums released ). This was a thursday night in middle of December, council issued closing order 3 days prior so the DJs arranged the fastest night ever.

 

Just before my time this, we did similar but swap fiesta for taxi and our dids were not as strong so we dropped like 10 lmao.

 

Slightly before my time too, only a couple of years though. You drop 10 of the old school pills you aint seeing tomorrow - saying that though, throughout a night I probably manged it a few times.

Aye some of ours were crap, when someone went over to amsterdam we got a few decent ones but eventually it was cheaper and easier to have a gram of MDMA.

Looks a good en, few nights like this still run in leeds, not my sort of music for a night out, good for chillin wi a smoke and that but prefer me 150bpm bouncin stuff for a night out ha or a bit of hard house.

Can't ****ing stand it. Being an actual real Dub reggae man it kills me to see what they're trying to do. Trying to kill off a genre of music by adding ****e beats to it.

Bulter should be fair well known as hes also a radio dj on radio city and used to be on juice FM and others. Anyway, these guys and a few outside Liverpool and with a massive bot of help from the dutch and people like the Klubbheads pioneered the stuff I love. Called it scouse house and first but now its just UK Bounce and Pumpin House.

You know when the bin men come in the morning, or when you used to have to dial up the internet to get online.....thats dubstep. Awful stuff and people who listen to it are usually off it on some dodgy **** that you just wouldnt take at a rave. Thick ****s take downers and that instead of something to get them moving. How times have changed.
