Ok for what it's worth I think at least one of the promoted sides from league one will make the top 6, at least 2 of the relegated sides will as well. I think Derby will be the dark horses and I expect Forest to do better, I'd imagine Leeds will be there or there abouts as Warnock knows his onions in this league. Hull need to sort their sh*t out and as for us, I really have no idea I just hope we are good enough for top 6.
Jaytab2 WTF happened to Jaytab1 as if I didn't know - Welcome Jaytab2, hopefully you learned a lesson, but looking at your start maybe not
Bloody hell, relegation/promotion issues haven't even been settle yet, and we're talking about favourites for next season! We could still end up with Bolton AND West Ham in the league next season, which, in addition to Wolves, Blackburn, Birmingham, Cardiff, Charlton, Middlesboro and the usual suspects, would be a disaster for those looking for promotion.
You do both realise that we all know that and are taking the mick out of the bookies for putting up the odds before we know who will be in this league and for putting us as favourites after the season we've had?
The only basis any bookmaker would have for making us favourites is that they are expecting our owners to carry on spending big ... you certainly can't make a csase on the current crop of players as they are all central to our inability to string a decent run together... I think NP will be given some money, but he'll also be told to trim the current squad and wage bill (and rightly so) ...
Nigel P is a good manager , I was more peed off when he walked away then I am about losing Nicky B . You Will finish in the top six .. Impossible for anyone to say top 2 for sure for ANY club in the championship . Can't see any stupid stuff kicking off between our fans / your fans this season now AKCJ won't be starting crap on other clubs message boards like last season . For me having a chance of a play off spot is good enough pre season and I think we will have a chance . . It would be good IF both our clubs could go up, and Leeds go down.
