why bother going to the hull daily site: "the mail understands.....". Also translates to: "a source close to the club.....". Which also translates to: "Had a quick word with Adam Pearson on Saturday night.....". Also translating to: "we need to fill a hole in the page, and the bloke on the Orchard Park bus on the way home from Rugby.....". Basically they are making up stuff without real substance again!

Dunno about that, Mussie - it feels more like a 'leak' by the owners' side.

Is there a way to prevent that annoying football league advert opening up when you click to links on HDM?

If you're using Chrome then get Adblock Plus.

If you're not using Chrome then get Chrome and get AdBlock Plus.

Edit: It might be AdBlock Pro come to think of it.

I don't get why people get so defensive over browsers. I mean, I'm as big a computer nerd as the next guy but I've never heard one reason why there is any big difference between IE, Chrome or Firefox. They're all just browsers that read the page, no matter what they tell you they are not going to make your connection faster so it's just a case of which one you're used to for the layout/interface, keyboard shortcuts, etc.

I use Firefox at home, but one work PC I use sometimes has IE and Chrome and works far, far faster when using Chrome than IE. No idea why this is.

The OP asked how to prevent the adverts on HDM website not which browser is best, I myself have tried loads but prefer Firefox with adblock, each browser has features that people will like.

I was aiming my comment at the two above it; one who suggested everyone should use Chrome and another saying the same about Firefox.

Why would Adams owning FC be a problem ffs, Adam has people for the day to day run of things FC.

I understand its more to do with the fact Ehab and Adam dont like each other. Ehab is not someone who should be let anywhere near a football club for that matter.

Sorry I didn't think one of them was worth responding to and I didn't read the other one properly.
Like I said adblock is what I use and I use it in Firefox as it is in their list of addons

TBH I don't for the life of me know why Adam decided to buy Hull FC - there's no money in the game and as far as I can tell he's not really a RL fan.

Initially I saw it as part of the Allams plan to take total control of the KC.

Without the not insignificant income he received as a 'consultant' for City, Adam is probably now wishing in hadn't bought them.
