Muslims deny the crucifixion of Jesus which is heresy. They incorporate writings from the bible, then twist them and put it in the Quran, especially regarding Jesus... they even go as far to say Jesus will return to earth only on "Allah's" permission. The one they call the "last prophet, Mohammad" apparently had wives that were 9 and 11 years old <--- can see the link there? and had a wife who was a rich Catholic woman? what's the deal with that? and also Mohammad was said to of laid with his aunt after her death, because she was "like a wife" to him. This prophet was a *****phile, bigamist, and necrophiliac and we must be tolerant of it's teachings?

Why not just build a chapel in SJP and in Benton, so we can cater for those who live by the will of god.

No religion has nothing to do with it. Its about playing football well, training hard, being willing to learn and that's where they've excelled. Its professionalism and hard work that gets you to progress. I don't believe in god and don't have any time for things I can see no logic in. But I do believe it should be each to their own and if the various players find some sort of comfort in their various religious beliefs then good for them. I think no less of someone who believes in god just because I find the whole idea ridiculous.

The none drinking thing is of course helpful but to be honest the same results can be gained from drinking in moderation. Its simply down to professionalism. We get a lot of foreign players who hold no religious beliefs as such, but they come from a different culture and take it as the norm that if you are a professional sportsman, then excess alcohol is a no go. Again its about dedication not religion.

As I say I don't give a **** what they choose to believe in, if they are professional and do the business they're alright by me.

I don't think it has anything to do with religion, however the faith some of the players which includes a cleaner healthier way of living e.g not drinking can and probably has rubbed off onto some of the players.
It's also having a great level of professionalism and work ethic, I also get the impression there is a huge togetherness in the team. I'm sure I've read somewhere that the often go around each others houses for meals and to just hang out and do a lot away together away from the team set up.

The book of Leviticus states that: You can own slaves, sell your daughter into slavery, you can't speak or come into contact with women on their menstrual cycle, can't eat shellfish, cant approach the alter if you are short sighted, cant have the hair around your temples cut, can't touch the skin of a dead pig and can't plant two types of crop on one plot of land.

My point, you can't cherry pick aspects of other religions in order to justify your own, all of them have bat-**** insane elements...Having said that, take a look at what you've written, 'Muslims' deny the crucifixion of Jesus - have you seen the passage where they deny it? They say "for of a surety they killed him not – Nay, Allah raised him up unto Himself" ... Pretty similar take on the belief that he rose again. Allah is just another word for God, so saying Jesus will return on 'Allah's' permission is just the same as saying that God will send Jesus back to earth.

The reason they shouldn't build a chapel is because it excludes 5/6? of our Islamic players. A prayer room is open to all!

Come on guys, let's talk about football, not footballer's faith and religions.

You can always go to Church if you want to do that.

Deal.

Newcastle to win and either Spurs or Arsenal to lose? Surely that's not asking too much?
