If that's the case I suggest he talks to his leach, sorry agent. That's if the reports from ER are true!
He'd be absolutely brilliant at Leicester. Although you already have a lifetime supply of central midfielders, do you not?
**** ones yes Drinkwater is decent, Danns is ok, Wellens is passed it and King has been crap for about 18 months
Well Wellens is past it, King (I heard) will be going to Everton, Fernandes and Johnson both left. So it only really leaves us with Danns, Drinkwater and (at a push) Bamba.
Leicester could do a lot lot worse than to get Clayton although that won't solve the problem you had against us cos your defenders seemed to miss the midfield out totally
Interesting article. Didn't realise that Clayton had already received a contract offer. Starting to make sense now - it's standard procedure to be transfer listed when you've got 12 months to go and knock back an offer.... http://www.teamtalk.com/leeds-united/7739692/NW-waits-on-McCormack-call Suspect McCormack & Snoddy will follow the same route. Just got a funny feeling. Wonder what makes me think this way?
Maybe there's hop something can be arranged....... Adam Clayton‏@Clayts15 Can I just say, 99 percent of all your messages have been amazing an I feel loved by you all... MOT thank you tweeted on the 6th of May.
"With Adam, I think the offer from the club was realistic" In other words, it was not a good offer, especially when the club have stated who the best midfielder is publicly, and that they have made that person the best offer possible to make that player the highest paid. "we've offered Ross what we feel is a good wage" Again, not even slightly comparable to what Snoddy has been offered. The interesting thing is that Snoddy will have his own views on those players, and he has already stated that if he does not see the club having any ambition, he will not sign the new contract. If Snoddy believes the contracts offered to Clayton, McCormack and White were not in keeping with an ambitious club, he will turn down his own contract knowing that at least Norwich will pick him up and play him in the Prem. Warnock is doing Bates's bidding. At least Grayson kept out of the way when it came to contract negotiations and the blame could squarely be put at the foot of corporate. Now we have no idea who is doing the bidding.
I dont' think there's any doubt that Bates has final say on what is spent and the wages these players will be on. He's a control freak.
