Looks as though one OR both could be departing this summer after a training ground row. Strange news considering TSAGU!
The first team haven't trained since before the Coventry game over a week ago. The only stuff they have done since the last game is some medical/fitness tests and player reviews. Since then most of them have been occupied with drinking rather then being at Staplewood.
I know, this was prior to the Coventry match... Martin wasn't on the bench. I only heard the news today whilst I was speaking to one of the Southampton doctors Ethan Thorn
It is rubbish. Either the doctor is lying about the incident or you are lying about the doctor. On Saints Player there is a video of all the players in the changing room after the Coventry game. They start chanting "we are going up", Aaron Martin has his arm on Harding's shoulder they are jumping up and down together with big smiles on their faces. Doesn't seem the actions of two players that have had such a bad falling out one or both is forced to leave. In any case why would them having a bust up mean Martin wasn't on the bench on Saturday? It was a tactical decision not to have a centre back, Fox would have gone to centre back and they would have brought Harding on if needed. They clearly didn't mind Martin being around the squad.
Guessing that he's a reincarnation of a previous WUM; he seems to have made the rounds to several boards trying to get a response.
Neither are Premier League standard. Would rather keep Martin is pushed but he'll be back-up at best and most likely 4th or 5th choice after the summer.
I think Martin could potentially be just about good enough. However, Harding is just useless and doesn't exactly look the type to get into a fight
Actually this is true - I was the one that started it! I went up to Dan and said "Why do you get so much stick?" to which Aaron came over and answered - "Cos he likes Marmite". Dan got annoyed at that as he doesn't, and a scuffle ensued, during which Joey Barton arrived and got really excited until he realised he wasn't invited. It was over quick, and afterwards they all went out for ice cream.
But this just caused more problems as at the ice cream shop they were out of dan's favourite flavor which resulted in him sulking in the corner leaving martin to poke more fun at his team mate, so much so this caused another spat. Word is that Harding has issued a "him or me " ultimatum to Adkins. Can't wait to see how the next episode turns out
