Do you guys think the Stoke fans will have any issues with me and a few other R's rocking up in the home end in Hoops shirts this Sunday? Or is it best to go stealth?
Mate, just dont do it. Go to the game by all means but dont wear your Rangers colours. Trust me there isn't any love lost between our fans and i dont think you'll get a good reception.
Last Season I went with a few of my mates and sat in the lions den (stealth) and they knew I was QPR! got evil looks for 90mins. Thank God we lost, otherwise I might not have got out alive!!!!! NEVER AGAIN!!!
South Coast Ranger.. For most of our home games there is a seat next to me which is defo not a S/T holders. YOU are welcome to use that one. I also have a spare Stoke shirt or is that asking too much.? It's your one and only hope of getting out with all limbs intact.. just JOKING but do not wear the hoops, a scarf might be less noticable.
Ive got our red and white kit, this would be less noticable. To be honest as long as you (On Sunday 'We') dont lose I will be an honourary Potter for 24 hours!
South Coast R ONE problem is.. nothing in football is guaranteed apart from we're always sheite last game of the season, let's hope Bolton are worse than us for QPRs sake.
Can't see you having any trouble at stoke, although very vocal always found them friendly before and after
That trends needs to change at somepoint, and hopefully its Sunday with Crouch the former Ranger grabbing the winner. Bolton have not kept a clean sheet in their last 13 so I can see you boys scoring at least.
Believe me when you go to a football match week in week out it's easy to sniff out opposition supporters
The difference is we're not opposition, i'll be cheering like mad for Stoke!!! With a keen eye on the Rangers game ;-)
Wooo! And when I went to Stoke all in blue/ white they were soooo friendly, the local pork showed us the way to the bus (didn't take it in case it was going to the prison), the Pub was really friendly, and after we'd won 3-2 they almost totally stopped the traffic flow to see us out of town first!
me and 8 other r,s fans are going to stoke , got our tickets thru some stoke mates , couldnt get citeh tickets
I will be in Manchester on Sunday morning (stop over from Saturday), but I was slow out of the blocks when the final 1,700 tickets went on sale to members on the 1st of May and missed out. As such, I am now arranging to drive down the M6 and have a hospitality ticket at the Britannia Stadium reserved through a work contact. As I mentioned when I made the cheeky request, I'll be the biggest Stoke City fan in the box for 90 minutes at any rate! No QPR colours for me, but I'll be doing some spotting and see if I can gauge the other Stoke fans for the day!
