Yea, have corrected the spelling Cosi, no excuses with the spell checker and yes, many a posts intended meaning gets wrongly interpreted, as used to happen on the old BBC606.

But not such a problem on here Not606 for some reason, maybe we have all matured and become more tolerant and accept other poster points of view more readily.

Your subtle reference to my quality of spelling passed me by Cosi, its true, subtlety is sometimes not a strong feature of my thinking, I would never make a politician that's for sure.

Ha! The worst thing about subtlety is that it always loses something in translation!

Thus it is written in the stars that - stumbling with clumsy steps - religion must always trip on cracked earth. What a shame it cannot see further than the end of its aim: that in its effort to smooth the path for mankind, its prized steamroller will have many drivers competing for its wheel; who will steer differently, won't change gear or cannot put the brakes on. And with such fighting over who's driving, we should not be surprised at the frequent, inevitable result.

Of course, the drivers will tend to blame something else: usually it's each other but sometimes it's the tyres…

Schumacher agrees with himself and joins in the throng bemoaning the need to think when driving in 2012:

'We', 'I', 'you' and back to 'we' again:

Schumacher. <doh> If you don't like it, jog on. Get Sutil in there, he was always good in wet conditions so I'm sure he's able to cope with the raw egg, cake mix, pancake batter or whatever else Pirelli throw at him.

We will just have to wait and see what the hell he is on about, 16 races to go.. and they know they already have a winning car.

"Raw eggs"? Of all the comparisons to make that's pretty random. I'm left wondering when Schuey, during all his years of greatness, has ever driven on raw eggs? Yes raw eggs not any old boiled, poached or fried egg. The man baffles me.

Yes, a winning car with a whining driver. He should know well enough not to whinge about the formula. As AG has said, if he doesn't like it, he should "jog on" and let a more worthy driver have a crack at it.

If he sticks around much longer after his outburst, he's going to look more of a fool with even more raw egg on his face. Hmm… perhaps that's it eh? Perhaps he's looking for an excuse to go ungracefully: after all, he would appear to know no other way.

I think drivers have a right to complain, much so if he is a seven time world beater, I think it is the fact that his car - team have not worked properly for the four opening races, it is getting to him.
Maybe in Catalunya he will drive in anger.

F1 legend: Pirelli tires are dangerous

http://edition.cnn.com/2012/05/09/sport/motorsport/motorsport-f1-stewart-pirelli-tires/index.html

----
"I don't think that amount of rubber should be coming off the tires and be left to the side of the track," the 72-year-old said.

"If you go over that rubber it then sticks to the terribly hot -- above 100C (212F) -- tires.

"When you get to the next corner your car is now totally unstable, and when you're going to brake you'll probably lose control of your car. If there's a car close to you then that will cause a multiple-car accident -- it has to be improved."

Paul said on the flying lap they were already looking into that issue of marbles and trying to reduce the quantity being thrown out, but it would take time to sort out. He also said marbles do cause some inconvenience with overtaking but they come off the the tyre within a short amount of time as there have lost the material that existed when they were new.

Nick Fry expresses the kind of opinion that would justify his being "taken outside and shot in front of his family," as a similarly bell-shaped end would have it. Schumacher said "maybe Pirelli should think about that." Pirelli don't need to think about anything until the FIA changes the specification of the tyres they want F1 to use. He needs to say "Schumacher is wrong," not "Pirelli are doing what they were asked to do but we support Schumacher." It doesn't make any sense.

The Pirelli tyres are rubbish, its not racing as I know it and no one will persuade me differently, f**king silly overtaking, so some dim wit is entertained !!! Give me strength.

"It creates a different type of racing, more overtaking, which I imagine is seen as better quality from the outside, simply because things happen. I think it depends what you really want."

I think what he meant to say is "the racing is contrived crap"
