I never doubted for one minute that Wigan would win this one, Martinez is the great escape artist without doubt, and I'm very happy for the guy and club, looks like his Squad are finally starting to click with his passing and possession philosophy, and I'm sure next season Wigan will go from strength to strength, their struggle is over in my opinion.

As regards the third spot, I think it's Bolton's to lose, I can't see Man City throwing away the title on a poor away form QPR, so the decision as to who will go down will rest with Bolton, they are capable of getting all three points, but they will have to be at their best, defensively they are poor, but will the Stoke players minds be on some tropical beach somewhere? Anyway it's down to the last hurdle, and for what it's worth, I think Bolton will blow it, so see you next season, all the best!..................

Cracking post, this. Telford's one of the good guys, we are trying to repair the damage done to the QPR/Norwich relationship! <laugh>

Strange to see a Swan making comments like this, unusual. My team are safe too, but I wouldn't dream of pissing on other people's feet. We all love our team, I don't get the agro.

So, what now for you guys? Tough last game, but are Bolton capable of getting more than a point in theirs?

May surprise you, but I'm rooting for ya. <ok>

Go away you 'wolly w###er'! What are you doing on our board anyway?
QPR fans have taken loads of stick from Swans/norwich and others in the Championship and most wanted us to be deducted points from 'faurlingate'. I remember reading loads of posts from desperate fans hoping we would be found guilty because their clubs were simply not good enough and we won the league by a mile.

This season we have had many ups and downs and for me i am glad Blackburn went down and hope Bolton do to because it means my team will stay up.
You would do the same so get off your 'high horse' and stop talking crap. Your 'lets hope Man City stuff you and Bolton win' Really sums you up.
Remember we took 4 points off you (Swansalona)!
    Boring muppet.

That's a good post there. Looking back now, it amazingly looks like he made the right choice in not joining the Villa. He must've sensed where they were heading. Its not McLeish's fault they're in the sh*t now, its Lerner's.

When Wigan were rock bottom I thought him an idiot for not joining Villa in the summer. Now it looks like they'll finish above them.

I see Kean had nice things to say about our Bradley Orr last night. Said he was one of the older team members and had really added something to the team since he arrived (or words to that effect). I am sorry for Orr. He helped us last year and this. Good luck to him. Relegation is a tough thing. It affects all who work at the club. I hope we stay up and will rejoice at that but won't be sneering at Bolton.

I think we will survive. Bolton are not doing well. They did not score in open play last game. A deserved penalty and a fluke own goal. Stoke will not lie down in their last game at home. They have a good home redcord recently against some tough clubs (draws) but will want to have a home win as they haven't done that recently. Pullis looked fired up for it after his defeat at Rngers. It will be tough; but for Bolton to win is a big ask. Mind you not as big as ours!

Wigan thoroughly deserve to stay up. Really like Martinez and he's got them playing some really good stuff!

With regard to my post when Wigan scored, it was merely the relief that one more relegation place was filled and not by us. I'm an R's fan and therefore I show it. What I would say is that the Blackburn fans have got exactly what they deserve this season, their vitriolic abuse towards Steve Kean has been totally out of order, I can understand such feelings towards the Venkys, we had it with the Goons, but Kean did nothing to deserve such treatment and he almost pulled off an unlikely escape act. If Kean does go who in their right mind would want the job? The only way to eventually see off owners like those are to direct the anger at the right target...

Can't agree wi' that Sooper. Kean took over a mid-table side last season, pretty much destroyed the team and stayed up by the skin of his teeth on the last day. If it weren't for Allardyce's points they would have finished bottom. Then this season they were even worse and they were relegated quite easily in the end. Can you imagine the anger we'd have for a Manager that was that bad for us? At least when Wilkins took over, he did well in his first half-season.

No excuses for Blackburn. The whole world seen last season how dreadful a manager he was and we all said pre-season he'd bring them down. The owners and Kean are one and the same for me.

If all the decisions were Kean's then fair enough but we all know they weren't. Venkys announced their arrival by saying they would be giving Allardyce £5 million to strengthen the squad to achieve Champions League football, that was how deluded they were to start with, everything since then has been orchestrated by the owners, Kean is just the unfortunate fall-guy...
