Tbh I don't think KK has had a great season, but it does show is that Liverpool are suffering from many years of underinvestment. To compete to the highest standard you need to invest in the club to make it desirable for the best players. For Liverpool that means a lot more investment in players, i don't think KK has done to badly here as usually only 50% of transfers work out anyway but we haven't signed anybody world class but that's difficult without the CL. However everybody could see that we needed a striker in jan with Suarez banned and Carroll under performing, This was the big mistake of the season whether it was KK's or not I don't know. Liverpool also need a bigger stadium, 40k is just not big enough to compete with the budgets of Manu, city and chelski, so a lot more investment is needed there. The question is, is JH willing to spend big to restore Lfc to where it should be? Although it seemed that way at the beginning there was no January spending this year and IMO Liverpool need to take every opitunity to catch up with the field otherwise we will keep missing out on our targets as we have done for many years. So overall I think kenny did well to get to 2 finals this year with the team he had, but the squad hasn't grown in strength as I expected it to this year and to be in 9th is abysmal. Saying that I would only consider sacking KK if there was a big name manager lined up that could attract some better players.
Teh best part of tonights result is that it should give the board the confidence to keep Dogleash for another season lol Another season of comedy for all us lot to watch
